ARTIST STYLES

2. • Photorealism is a genre of painting
based on using cameras and
photographs to gather graphical
information and then from this
producing a painting that would look
photographic. The example I have
given is from a game call L.A norie as
you can see by the detail in the
character’s face it look is like some
one took a photo of this.
PHOTOREALISM

3. • Cel Shading is generated from a
computer that is made to look hand-
drawn. This look is usually used for
comics and cartoons it rarely shows up
in games. Here is an example of a cel
shading game called Sly Racoon 4:
Thief's of Time. The game has a thick
black outline around the character.

4. • Abstraction use simple shapes to
make images or characters in a game.
They can use the most simpleist
games for example they use a triangle
to make a strong character. For a
game example I have used minecraft
its main abstraction is a cube

5. • Exaggeration games are game that
use characters movements,
expressions and actions, provide
viewers and players senses of comedy
to have a various exaggeration effect
in the game. I have used Raymans
raving rabbids as an example of an
exaggeration game. The rabbids
movements are fast and they all act
silly and scream all the time the game
is also on the Wii making the player
exaggerate with the controls of the
game.
