This document discusses image choices for the contents page of a music magazine. The first image uses a low camera angle to make the models look powerful against a black and white backdrop, allowing for easy manipulation. I chose this image as it had a low angle
which makes the magazine more
interesting and makes the models look
powerful. Their stances also seem powerful
and the colours stand out. I was able to
manipulate this image in Photoshop too.
I thought that this image was effective as I
could easily manipulate it and her blank
facial expression makes it look quite cool
and indie. The black and white breaks the
contents page up from all the other colours
on the page.

8. POST2
The image I took, used the different
light filters to create the blue and
orange shadows behind the model.
This appeals to the indie pop genre
too. This is also landscape instead of
portrait to make my contents page
interesting.
I didn’t use any colour filters on this
image but kept it landscape. The
instrument makes it different from the
other two images and you can see
the colours in the photo quite clearly.
As he is not looking at the camera
again makes it different and gives my
contents page more of a variety.
