 Physical audits of the sites to collect the physical data.
 Check the signal strength of a particular ZTE site and accordingly changing the tilts and orientation
of the GSM Antenna to improve the coverage area.
AS A CLUSTER ENGINEER IN O & M DEPARTMENT IN MOBISERVE PAKISTAN PVT(LTD).
(FROM 15-NOV-2012 TO 31-JULY-2013).
BSS ACTIVITIES:
 Installation & Configuration of ALCATEL Combiners and TREs.
 Maintenance and Calibration of BTS equipment at all cell sites e.g. RF transceivers, VSWR tests etc.
 Identifying and resolving the sector swapping issues in the BTS cell sites. Offline commissioning of
Alcatel BTS.
 To check the SUMA card at BTS either working properly or not.
 Configuring the combiner and TRE’s according to frequency and standard i.e. 900MHz; 1800MHz.
TRANSMISSION ACTIVITIES:
 Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of NEC & Alcatel microwave links for the better
performance of data transmissions.
 Troubleshooting of IDU & ODU.
 Resolving the issue regarding microwave dishes alignment and panning using different tests.
 Changing IDU in case existing got faulty.
 Changing the polarity of ODU to affect the Rx/Tx level for proper communication.
 Performing the interference test.
 Communication path verification from hop to hop in case of site down due to media issue.
 On field troubleshooting, in case of any BTS entity goes down due to Telco or non-Telco reasons.
