TAC 101 is an introductory Arabic language course that aims to help students master basic Arabic skills like listening, speaking, reading and writing. The course covers topics like greetings, family, food, and daily life through vocabulary, dialogues, and elements of grammar and culture. Students will be assessed through simulations, tests, scripts and role plays to evaluate their social and language skills at an introductory level 1 proficiency by the end of the course.

FOUNDATION ARABIC LEVEL 1

2. TAC 101 is a basic course for level I. At this level student will be guided to
master the basic skill of Arabic Language. Usage of simple and suitable
syllabus is expected to strengthen students’ language skills in mastering
four basic language skills at this beginning level
COURSE DESCRIPTION
At the end of the course, students should be able to:
1. Demonstrate social skills while interacting using the Arabic language at
Introductory Level I. (LOD3, A2)
2. Demonstrate the language norms while interacting using the Arabic
language at Introductory Level I.(LOD4,A2)
3. Demonstrate the basic ability to write, read, listen and speak Arabic
language in various discourses at Introductory Level I.(LOD5,A2)
COURSE OUTCOME

3. This course cover Arabic Language skills include listening, speaking,
reading and writing with emphasis on:
1. Vocabularies, expression, dialogue of daily communication such as: -
greeting and introduction
- family and work
- study
- housing and environment
- family and work
- foods and drinks
- daily life
2. Elements of culture (in command conversation.)
3. Elements of grammar (basic grammar such as: nouns, pronouns, verbs)
