变革(分享)领导力沙盘模拟培训:在团队互动中观察管理行为。
Synergy is an attended seminar that, for two days, submerges the participants in a situation of growing complexity, uncertainty and change. Using a “behaviour simulator”, it has a high impact and achieves emotional involvement such that learning through experience is assured.
变革(分享)领导力沙盘模拟培训:在团队互动中观察管理行为。
The High Performance Teams program is based on the Cooplexity model of collaboration which establishes a new framework for decision making specifically for conditions of uncertainty.
It is an experiential learning program based on a face-to-face behavioral simulation and supported with extra weeks of distance learning activities.
This document discusses using independent component analysis (ICA) and locally adaptive volatility estimation (LAVE) to calculate value at risk (VaR). It introduces ICA, LAVE, GARCH, and RiskMetrics models. An empirical study applies these methods to Taiwan stock market data from 2000 to 2010. The results show that combining ICA and LAVE provides more accurate VaR estimates than RiskMetrics or GARCH alone, by better capturing changes in volatility over time. However, the document notes that more flexible settings may be needed for higher confidence levels.
This document provides tips for identifying verbs in sentences. It notes that the subject of the sentence is generally the first noun and that the verb is what the subject is doing. Linking verbs join parts of the sentence. Verb tense should be consistent within a sentence, and irregular verbs have three forms. A direct object receives the action of the verb and answers what or whom after an action verb.

Developing Applications for Android - Lecture#3Usman Chaudhry
The document discusses setting up an Android development environment, including installing Eclipse, the Android SDK, and ADT plugin. It then covers creating a "Hello World" Android application, understanding an app's file structure and the activity lifecycle. It also discusses Android Virtual Devices, debugging tools, core Android components like views and fragments, and using version control with Mercurial and Bitbucket. The document concludes with tasks for an in-lab assignment on setting up environments, creating sample apps, and using version control in groups.
Developing Applications for Android - Lecture#4Usman Chaudhry
This document summarizes a lecture on developing Android applications. It discusses various Android layouts like linear, relative, table and grid layouts. It also discusses layout parameters and different basic input controls like text fields, text views, buttons, checkboxes and spinners. It provides code examples for different layouts and controls. It describes how to access resources from XML and Java code. It outlines an assignment to create a registration form using different layouts.
Developing Applications for Android - Lecture#1Usman Chaudhry
This document outlines the topics that will be covered in an Android development course, including an introduction, prerequisites, expectations, and grading. It provides an overview of Android including its history and evolution. Key aspects of the Android architecture are explained, including the Linux kernel, libraries, application framework, and applications. Example applications and growth comparisons to other platforms are also mentioned.
Developing Applications for Android - Lecture#2Usman Chaudhry
This document contains lecture slides on object-oriented programming concepts in Java like classes, objects, inheritance, polymorphism, abstraction and interfaces. It also discusses design patterns like context, adapter and separation of concerns (MVC). The slides provide examples of different OOP concepts like nested classes (static, inner, local and anonymous), method overriding and abstract classes vs interfaces. It also summarizes packages, annotations and javadocs. The context and adapter patterns in Android are explained with examples.
