Describe your personal learning preferences (1

paragraph, 100-150 words)

At the beginning of the class my learning style results were

REF (3), SEN (1), VIS (9), and SEQ (3). After this test I

really took into consideration how I could use these results to

help me study. By the end of class I realized that these

learning styles really do help me to learn better. Although it

is still hard at times, but know how information may appeal to

my interest has been very beneficial. My preferences for

learning has still a bit of a journey but along the semester

thinking how these styles can help me have pulled me

through this long semester. Knowing how I am able to help

myself has enhanced my learning.

Describe the learning pathway you chose at the
beginning of the class (1 paragraph, 100-200 words)

For this section I believe I did join Learning Sage pathway

because the time we are in really require us to know how to

use technology. It is a important factor for work, business,

and entertainment. I wasn’t sure how to use the pathway

very well during the semester and wasn’t able to use it to my

fullest potential but from what I did use I can say it was very

useful. I did get a broader knowledge of mobile technology.

I’m sure I was quite unsuccessful compared to my peers in

this class but I tried to do my best and it was very beneficial

for what I was able to accomplish.

Describe how the activities you completed contributed
or did not contribute to your learning pathway (1
paragraph, 100-200 words)
For me specifically I would have to say that the iPod

and MP# players were very beneficial. I am able to use

something that is portable which allows me to transport it

with me without difficulty. I am able to upload pictures and

diagrams and view them for as long as I want or as many

times as I wish. That also goes for audio logs that I wish to

repeat to myself and get a better understanding of what is

being said each time it repeats. I am not much of an audio

learner so being able to repeat something is very helpful.

Using the iPod helped with my visual and sequential learning

and allowed me to get a better understanding of the material.

My iPhone that I got within the semester and the iPod I had

were very beneficial to my learning.

Using one paragraph each, describe the top 3
mobile technologies you explored for learning (3
     paragraphs, 100-150 words each)
The iPod, tablets, and microblogs were a few
technologies that I explored to help me with my learning that

would enhance my learning styles. I own an iPod and tried

to upload lectures and well as audio logs that I would be able

to view as many times as I wished throughout the day. I

borrowed my friend’s tablets to look up information and

complete my work at times and I also used microblogs that

had to do with the topic I had to review in order to help me

get a better understanding of my topic at hand. All these

technologies were very beneficial in their own way. I was

able to use each one for a different preference for my

learning comprehension. I was able to view pictures and

diagrams as many times as I wished. I was also able to look

up information that was not available during the teachers

presentation and if I missed a lecture I was able to do my

own research and teach myself in a sequential order that fit

my learning preference.

Synthesize your experience investigating your use of
different mobile technologies for learning (2 paragraphs,
100-150 words each)
I would have to say the iPod/iPhone has been the most

interesting me as a learning tool. I was never aware of all

the available apps/programs that assisted me to my learning

preferences. I was quite shocked that my iPod was able to

do more then just play music. I was unaware I was able to

upload audio logs and pictures of lectures onto my

iPod/IPhone. I still would like to do a bit more research into

iPhones/iPads. I soon hope to own an iPad and wish to use

it to its fullest capability.

I would say that the iPod really did help me with my

learning. As I said in the previous paragraphs it allowed me

to view things as many times as I wished which allowed me

to use my visual side of learning but since I am not very

good with my audio side of learning it helped me by being

able to listen to audio logs as many times as I wished to.

Describe how you will use what you learned in this
class after this semester (2 paragraphs, 100-150
      words)
Over all I really hope to use my iPhone /iPod to continue

with my learning. It has helped me this far into the semester

and hope to help me in other parts of my life. I currently

work at the pet hospital and am training to be a pet nurse

and hope to use this mobile learning to learn all the medical

applications that will help me to become a better nurse. With

all the medications and the causes of diseases and the

outcome that can benefit the pet starts to become a long list

and this new way of learning will help me to further my

education.

I will probably stay away from social networking

because I end up getting sucked into the social/entertaining

parts that have nothing to do with my learning. Although it

can help me with my learning it still has the part of

socializing that I can’
