K to 12: Its Implications across the Curriculum
Focused on Private High School -- Miriam College High School
A lot of issues were raised about the implementation of K-12 in the Philippine education system. Many are worrying that it might not be effective. Others think that it won’t make any improvement. But in the case of Miriam College High school, they are looking positively for its results. Upon hearing both facts and opinions from a number of resources, the researchers think that its implementation can result in large benefits to the society of the Philippines and its citizens. There will be problems because of the changes in the curriculum but the researchers believe that Filipinos will cope up soon. They’ll learn, in no time, to make the best out of the skills they’ll acquire through the changes. Better education system will bring better and more responsible citizens. Better citizens will lead to a better country.

Anthropological Foundations of EducationSergz Diaz
The following slides contain the concepts on anthropological foundations of education which serve as one of the pillars of our educational system. This anthropological foundation traces back the history of our education in terms of the early forms of Philippine culture, beliefs, customs and traditions which served as patterns reflected to the kind of educational reform who have today.

This study analyses the concepts, attitudes and practices of 113 students from three major
universities in different countries (Japan, Mexico and Spain) related to the process of coding to
create multimedia presentations in an intercultural context. A project framed in two research
groups has been developed to enhance coding skills in intercultural multimedia presentations.
A Student t-test, a mixed questionnaire with a pretest-posttest design, a Wilcoxon test and
interviews were administered to students using data triangulation. The results show that
fostering intercultural multimedia activities and interaction using coding and communication
tools in a university has several advantages regarding ICT skills. Research showed statistically
significant efficacy regarding the ability of students to understand the management and use
of multimedia content through block programming. Although there are just a few limitations
related to Scratch programming language, students highlighted that Scratch is easy to use,
funny and perfect for presentations and animations.
Engineering Higher Education: A Leading Model That Guides Mobile Technology T...Dustin Bessette, CIG
A visionary leadership of education has been currently transformed by mobile devices with educational purposes. These purposes lead to drastic changes that often occur with internal and formation structures of academic programs. These changes lead to prosperous students that are able to obtain these changes and modify their learning spectrum for a new era. Within the new era, careers and jobs are changing due to technical and financial advances that require these new skills. Mobile technology is the new face of education by a basis of relative institutions that believe in advances for career, educational, and personal purposes. These devices are created specifically for educational learning, such that more students are able to learn studies that they never could before. This will also help generate new students from locations the institution was not able to gain students from in the past. The purpose of this study is to engage topics about the virtual classroom and discuss a model that entices new possibilities that are in relative manner to measurements for academics. The focus will be based from research that is specifically centered for virtual learning. Areas of interest will be mainly distance learning, engineering virtual classrooms, modifying institutional programs, and marketing and enrollment procedures. These items will assure research that bases its methods on higher educational leaning set towards institutional awareness of advanced technology for academics. The outcomes of this model will create modified ideas and methods that are currently used in the academic setting. The research is based on current information that is sufficient and bases a majority of information related to academic integrity and purpose. Its methods are created to assist faculty and students better understand how creative measures can assist and engage the institution with technical advances for virtual classroom.
The Teacher Trainers’ Perceptions of the Challenges in Achieving Technologica...IJMCERJournal
ABSTRACT: The study examined the challenges in implementation of the Technological Pedagogical
Content Knowledge (TPCK) as a basis for 21st century learning and skills acquisition. The TPCK advocates for
adequate balance of content knowledge with pedagogy and technology. The study sampled one hundred and
twenty (120) teacher trainers whose status was senior lecturers and above in three Colleges of Education in Oyo
State, Nigeria to determine the problems of achieving TPCK in teacher education. An open ended questionnaire
which contained fifteen (15) statements on 4-point Likert scale was used as the only instrument. This allowed
the teacher trainers to freely express their opinions on the issues related to the implementation of TPCK in the
teacher education in Nigeria. The responses of the sampled teacher trainers were analysed using simple
percentage. The finding indicated that inadequacy in teacher preparation, teachers’ knowledge of application of
technology, inadequate technological facilities, mode of recruitment of teacher trainers, lack of teacher
motivation and irregular in-service training for the teacher trainers plague the implementation of TPCK in
Nigeria teacher education system. The study recommends adequate knowledge and application of technological
pedagogical content knowledge in teacher preparation, recruitment of teacher trainers, teacher motivation
through prompt payment salary, adequate provision of technological facilities and regular in-service training.
The study also suggested learning strategies that could be employed in teacher education to foster digital
literacy, critical thinking, problem solving and collaboration Keywords: Teacher education, pedagogical content
knowledge, technological pedagogical content knowledge, 21st century learning and skills

Module2 human resource information systemMaria Theresa
By automating Human Resource practices, HRIS saves time and money, effectively reallocates work processes and thus provides competitive advantage and add strategic value to the organization
To successfully manage human resources, individuals need personal credibility, business knowledge, understanding of the business strategy, technology knowledge, and the ability to deliver HR services.
Human resource management practices should be evidence- based, that is, based on data showing the relationship between the practice and business outcomes related to key company stakeholders (customers, shareholders, employees, community). In addition to contributing to a company’s business strategy, human resource practices are important for helping companies deal with sustainability, globalization, and technology challenges. Global challenges include entering international markets, immigration, and offshoring. Technology challenges include using new technologies to support flexible and virtual work arrangements, high-performance work systems, and developing effective e-HRM practices and human resource information systems.
