Sweetie Smash is a new game that combines elements of Pachinko and Cookie Clicker. The goal is to collect sweets by clicking a piñata and moving a bucket, then using sweets to purchase upgrades like automatic sweet generators. Players compete for the highest global score stored in the cloud. The game was made in Scratch by four young coders from the Scratch/Python Alliance using operators, variables, sensors and cloud data.

2.  The object of the game
is to collect sweets, first

gained, sweets can be

4. Scoring
The Global Highscore is stored on the Cloud.
Upgrades are available after collecting a certain number of sweets.
These then give you the chance to add –
Baby – 1 sweet every 10 seconds
Kid – 2 sweets every 5 seconds
Dad – 2 sweets every 1 second
Candy craving kids – 2 sweets every 0.5 seconds
Candy craving kids with swords – 20 sweets every 0.5 seconds
The aim of the game is to beat the global highscore.

5. PRODUCTION

To make this game, we used Scratch, as it was a
language we all knew and would be easier and
more efficient than using multiple languages.
We created this project using
 A lot of operators
 One variable
 One click sensor
 Some start censor
 And Cloud data
Because of this, there were limited options when it
came to open data. We eventually opted to use an
updating Global Highscore system, as well as
open-source music, of course  !
