Tour 1: Camera TrapsTour 1: Camera Traps
Working with the Shropshire Mammal Group and
Shropshire Wildlife Trust, 3 camera traps and clay
pits were placed around the site for 4 days to film the
wildlife on site. A lunchtime tour was carried out with
employees to retrieve the cameras, explain how they
work and check the results found.

In February 2013, RPL's Eco Ninjas surveyed 40 bird nest boxes
and installed feeders on site. For Springwatch RPL's Eco Ninjas
conducted a tour for employees, showing where we placed the
boxes, the different types, and results we have found.

RPL, Shropshire Mammal Society and
Shropshire Wildlife Trust carried out a
survey of hedgerow. Employees were
given an awareness talk on RPL's
biodiversity, allowed to open the traps
under guidance, and given information
on the small mammals found.

offered to help carry out a Moth
survey on RPL’s site. 4 employees
and 6 local community volunteers
took part in the Friday night survey.

identified, which have been added

    Tour 1: CameraTrapsTour 1: Camera Traps Working with the Shropshire Mammal Group and Shropshire Wildlife Trust, 3 camera traps and clay pits were placed around the site for 4 days to film the wildlife on site. A lunchtime tour was carried out with employees to retrieve the cameras, explain how they work and check the results found. For Springwatch RPL's Eco Ninjas conducted a tour for employees, showing where we placed the boxes, the different types, and results we have found. Tour 3: Small MammalsTour 3: Small Mammals RPL, Shropshire Mammal Society and Shropshire Wildlife Trust carried out a survey of hedgerow. Employees were given an awareness talk on RPL's biodiversity, allowed to open the traps under guidance, and given information on the small mammals found. Moth NightMoth Night Shropshire Invertebrates Group offered to help carry out a Moth survey on RPL’s site. 4 employees and 6 local community volunteers took part in the Friday night survey. 47 different species of moth were identified, which have been added to RPL’s species list SWT Corporate Membership New SWT Membership Package developed.
