2. Question 1
o We tried to ask a variety of ages to get a feel
of who would want to watch a dog
documentary more, we found that we
collected more responses from under 18s as
they were in school or our peers so was
overall easier. We couldn’t get any above 55s
to take the survey as they either didn’t have
time or didn’t want to.
o Getting 28 responses was overall better than
what we were aiming for, having the extra
answers would allow us to generalise more
easily and figure out who watched what.
3. Question 2
o We tried to get as close to 50/50 gender
replies however we found that males were
mainly more willing to take time out of
their day to answer the questionnaire. With
13 females to 15 males, which isn’t a huge
difference, means it allows us to still get a
trend or pattern.
4. Question 3 Question 4
o We found that 23/28 owned
a pet of some sort, and that
19/28 people own a dog, 2
people do not anymore.
o We thought that if a certain
amount of people owned a
dog then they’d therefore
have an interest in dogs.
5. Question 5 Question 6
o We found that 20 people have never
witnessed animal cruelty and 8 have.
o 23/28 people either
love or like dogs,
leaving 5 people
who don’t like them
or don’t really like
them. We can
assume that whose
who don’t like dogs
are those who don’t
own one.
6. Question 7 Question 8
o We gathered
that 26
people would
either report
animal cruelty
or stop it
themselves,
which is quite
a high
amount, only
one person
would walk
away.
o We found that
18 people
would
consider
owning a
rescue dog, 7
might do and
3 wouldn’t.
7. Question 9 Question 10
o With only a few people knowing a lot
about animal cruelty, it may mean that
more would be interested in learning
more about it.
o 14 people would not be
open to any breed,
compared to 13 (one
person skipped)
8. Question 11 Question 12
o We were pleasantly surprised with the amount
of people who would watch a dog documentary,
this gives us the reassurance to allow us to go
through with our idea.
o Having over half of the population asked say either
yes or maybe and only 4 people say no means that we
can create the dog documentary and try to suit it to
everyone.
