Career Objective
A well experienced recently retired 0n superannuation at the age of 60 yrs. Worked as
Sr. manager in a prime construction co. and consultant in coal washery 0f 600TPH capacity, fully
energetic and active desirous to work in a professionally managed environment, where individual
will have growth with the growth of the organization while enjoying the time being utilized for the
better profitability of the company.
Work Experience
 Worked in JINDAL STEEL AND POWER LTD, a pioneer company in the field of steel &
power sector, posted at Jindal Coal Mines near RAIGARH, as Consultant Projects
Washery. Presently, Involved in maintenance and modification of Washery and
coal handling plant for capacity enhancement and proper running of plant.
 Joined Jindal Steel and Power Ltd., as Incharge Projects for establishing new Coal
Washery of 600 TPH, capacity. The work involved project planning, procurement of
material & equipments, execution of Civil foundations, Fabrication & Erection of steel
structures including storage bunkers, erection and commissioning of mechanical
equipment for Washery ,RMH system.and conveyors.
Further, I was entrusted with the task of handling the operation of the Washery through
P.L.C process. I had successfully executed my responsibilities for a period of more than
two years .my responsibilities on the post were to run the plant successfully by controlling
the process parameters to get maximum production , with minimum breakdowns and
attending breakdowns and repairs with the help of well experienced team of engineers
and workers.
 Joined as Technical Assistant on 24.05.1972 in Hindustan Steel works construction
Limited, (a government of India under taking) having its Registered office at 1'
Shakespeare, Sarini, Kolkota. A pioneer in the field of construction and expansion
activities of steel plants and posted at Bhilai, initialy for expansion of Bhilai Steel
Plant from 2.5 MT to 4.0 MT.
 Promoted as Assistant Divisional Engineer (Mech.) on 10.03.1974.
 Promoted as Divisional Engineer on 23.07.1979.
 Promoted as Zonal Engineer on 24.07.1986.
 Promoted as Superintending Engineer on 01.12.1993 and was posted to Bokaro.
 Transferred back to Bhilai in June 1995 and opted V.R. on 30.11.2002.
During my career, I was posted at Dalli-Mechanised mines at RAJHARA, IRON –ORE MINES of
Bhilai Steel Plant. There, I was associated with activities including civil & structural work for
construction of one Earthen DAM and commissioning of iron ore crushing plant for BSP, the civil
work including, rock drilling, blasting and construction of roads & buildings.
Further, I was entrusted with various responsibilities during expansion of BHILAI STEEL PLANT
at Bhilai from 2.5 MT to 4 MT. The work include project management, including project planning,
its execution, contract management, billing &claims with clients /contractor and another activities
for civil structural &mechanical works including material management & finalization of contracts.
Also, Involved in Capital Repairs of various areas such as coke oven, Blast Furnace, and
steel melting shops, rolling mills and raw material handling plants. The work involve replacement
and repair of various damaged structures and process equipments including pipe lines, furnace
shells, Heat exchangers, hot blast stoves roll tables& conveyors, its galleries and raw material
equipments related with steel plant.
Also I have worked as coordinator and dealt various Arbitration cases successfully and resulted
the decisions in favor of HSCL.
On the post of Sr. Manager, I was in-charge of fabrication department. During my tenure of
service, I was arranging execution of fabrication work, dealing with all excise matters either at
site or in workshop, availing MODVAT / CENTAX facility from Cent. Ex. Dept. Inspection of
structures. I was also responsible for fabrication and erection of 1800-MM dia. N.B. pipeline
erected for C.O. gas network.My responsibilities were,planning ,procurement of raw steel
required for work execution of construction work through contractors,billing and accounting of
steel and finalization for BHILAI STEEL PLANT ,as per drawing and site conditions
 On separation of services from HSCL, I have worked in Beekay Engg Corporation at
Bhilai for 3 months. During the period, I have executed 78M-rail mill project entrusted to

2. M/s Beekay Engg. Corporation including manufacture of mechanical equipments related
to the project and manufacturing of kilns shells required for sponge iron..
Courses and Seminars Attended
1. During my service, I have attended various courses and workshops on
different topics such as Arbitration, Contract Management, Pollution
Control & Executive Development Program organized by BSP and
Institution of Engineers.
2. I have participated in national seminar on welding organized by Indian
institute of welding, for repair & surface finishing by welding through
eutectic welding material and low heat in put electrodes, in steel plant.
3. Attended course on certification as project manager conducted by
International Project Management Association, New Delhi.
Educational Qualification
 Passed Higher Secondary School certificate three year 'A' Examination in 1966 from
M.P. Board, Bhopal in first class with distinction in General Science and Chemistry.
 Passed Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bhopal University, Bhopal in
the year 1971 and secured 62% marks.
 Passed L.L.B (Three year course) from Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur in the
year 1987 and secured 61% marks.
