5. Ruku 1 (Ayah 1-9)
 Revelation of the book Tanzeel ---- ِ‫يم‬ِ‫ك‬َ‫ح‬ْ‫ال‬ ِ‫يز‬ ِ

 Disbelievers falsely justify their association of other deities.
 Allah’s creation;

 Cattle - camel, cow, sheep and goat whose four males and four

8. Ruku 2 (Ayah 10-21)
 Believers who cannot practice their faith should migrate to
other places where they can. Allah’s earth is spacious!!!
 Promise of great reward for those who are patient in adversity.
 Those who are َ‫ن‬ۡ‫ِي‬‫الد‬ ُ‫ه‬َّ‫ل‬ ‫ا‬ً‫ص‬ِ‫ل‬ ۡ
‫خ‬ُ‫م‬ – “sincere in their deen”.
 Serve Allah alone.
 Follow what they preach, and then call others towards it
 Refrain from َ‫ت‬ ۡ
‫و‬ُ‫غ‬‫ا‬َّ‫الط‬ – rebellion – following Shaitaan.

9.  َ‫ن‬َ‫س‬ ۡ
‫ح‬َ‫ا‬ - listen and follow the message to its perfection –--- they are the ones
endowed with understanding.
 Everything in this world is transitory.
 We have decked the earth with all kinds of ornaments to test the people
and to see which of them do the best deeds. In the end We shall reduce
all that is on it to a barren wasteland. (Surah Kahf: 7,8)
Abu Hurairah narrated that the
Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said:
Indeed among the excellence of a
person's Islam is that he leaves what
does not concern him. (Tirmidhi)

10. Ruku 3 (Ayah 22-31)
 ‫ر‬ۡ‫د‬َ‫ص‬ َ‫ح‬َ‫َر‬‫ش‬ - expanding the hearts – a state in which there remains no
anxiety, ambiguity, suspicion and doubt, no feeling of any danger and
loss. These hearts receive the light of Islam and they shine and radiate.
Abdullah Ibn Masud said when the Holy Prophet recited this verse: َ‫ح‬ َ‫َر‬‫ش‬ ‫ن‬َ‫م‬َ‫ف‬َ‫أ‬
,
ُ‫ه‬ َ‫ر‬ْ‫د‬َ‫ص‬ ُ‫ه‬‫ـ‬َّ‫الل‬ we asked him about the meaning of 'sharh-us-sadr'. He said,
"when the light of 'iman (faith) enters the human heart, it enhances its
capacity (which makes the comprehension and implementation of Divine
commandments easy on the person concerned)." We submitted, 'ya
rasulallah, what is the sign of it?' Then, he said:"Longing passionately for
the eternal home, and seeking refuge from the deceptive abode, and
preparing for death before its arrival. “ (Ruh-ul-Ma’ ani).

11.  Quran is a beautiful message, develops “khashyah”, that makes the skin shiver
in awe of Allah.
 The Qur'an is consistent in its verses yet repeats its teachings in different ways.
 addresses human nature with simple logic.
 There is no ambiguity, equivocation or deviation.

12.  The analogy of two servants – one serves one master & the other is
answerable to multiple masters.
 The one who serves a single master enjoys stability and peace.
 The other suffers from anxiety and worry.

13. Ruku 4 (Ayah 32-41)
 Complete trust in Allah – no one has the power to hurt
anyone against Allah’s will.
 Fear Allah not people.
 Prophet (SAWS) is not a guardian – only a Warner.
Abdullah bin Mas’ud narrated: I heard your Prophet say: 'Whoever
focuses all his concerns on one issue, the concerns of the Hereafter,
Allah will suffice him and spare him the worries of this world. But
whoever wanders off in concern over different worldly issues,Allah will
not care in which of these valleys he is destroyed.’(Ibne Majah 257)

14. Action Items Ruku 1-4
 Allah’s Kingdom --- Acquisition of true and mature knowledge
 Sincerity --- One has to purify one's religion for the sake of Allah
and worship Him alone
 Open your heart for Islam --- Praying for the openness of heart
 Allah is enough for His servant --- relying on Allah in every
matter and fear of Allah

15. Ruku 5 (Ayah 42-52)
 Sleep and death – Allah has decreed the moment of death.
 Attitude of polytheist towards Tawheed.
 Man’s arrogance over his abilities.
 Good times are a bigger test as man forgets Allah &
amuses in his own abilities & competence.
 Distribution of provision is subject to Allah’s will and wisdom
In a speech or sermon, if the whole discussion is on
monotheism, then people are usually worried about what
happened. What kind of speech is this in which the miracles
of the saints of Allah are not mentioned and the glory of
prophethood is not mentioned? (Dr Israr, Biyan ul Quran)

16. Ruku 6 (Ayah 53-63)
 Allah’s mercy overpowers His wrath.
 Repentance is accepted till the last breath --- ُ‫م‬‫ي‬ ِ‫ح‬َّ‫الر‬ ُ‫ور‬ُ‫ف‬َ‫غ‬ْ‫ال‬
 Different excuses of disbelievers will be of no avail.
 “If only Allah had guided me, I should have been one of the God-fearing”.
 “Oh! that I might return again and be among those who do good”.

17. Ruku 7 (Ayah 64-70)
 They have not appreciated Allah, His true worth.
 On the Day of Resurrection, the whole earth will be in His grasp.
 The heavens shall be folded up in His Right Hand.

18.  Description of the Day of Resurrection.
 The trumpet will be blown twice.
 The earth will shine with light of Allah.
 The Book of Deeds will be laid open.
 All Prophets and witnesses will be called upon.
 Every soul will be paid according to their deeds.

19. Ruku 8 (Ayah 71-75)
 Disbelievers driven to hell in large crowds.
 The angel-guards will ridicule them.
 Believers will enter Paradise in groups too.
 The angels will greet them with blessings of peace.
 There will be chants of Praise to the Lord of the Universe.

21. Action Items Ruku 5-8
 The End of Those Who Deny the Call of Tawheed --- Patience in
hard times and gratitude on blessings
 The door to repentance is open --- continuous repentance, following
the best aspect of the book
 Denial of slavery to anyone other than Allah--- Appreciate Allah with
His true worth
 On that day, everything will come to its place --- to live with fear,
remembering the Day of Judgment
