This document provides an overview of the collection and preservation of the Quran. It discusses:
1) The Quran was initially revealed to the Prophet Muhammad piecemeal over 23 years and was preserved orally by many of his companions.
2) During the caliphate of Abu Bakr, the Quran was collected in written form for the first time due to concerns that parts may be lost with deaths in battles.
3) During the caliphate of Uthman, the Quran was fully standardized with one complete written version to resolve disputes between regional recitations.
4) The Quran has been meticulously preserved without any changes or errors since the time of the Prophet Muhammad

The Surah Al-Anam was revealed almost entirely at one time in Makkah accompanied by 70,000 angels reciting the name of Allah.
It discusses the concepts of tawheed and refutes shirk, addressing the objections of the polytheists of Quraysh.
The Surah explains proper beliefs regarding Allah's divine authority over legislation and the day of judgement, while warning against following one's desires or the majority if it leads away from the truth.
This document discusses several passages from the Quran. It describes psychological states of disbelievers and emphasizes recording of deeds. It relates stories of prophets being ridiculed but finding support from honest people. True servants of Allah present logical arguments for worshipping the one Creator. The document also discusses signs of creation like plants, the sun and moon, ships and seas. It describes the Day of Resurrection and dwelling of believers in paradise versus disbelievers.

The summary then discusses seven reasons why the Quran is the greatest miracle given to Prophet Muhammad, including that it contains knowledge that was unknown at the time but has since been discovered to be true. It discusses the stories of various prophets mentioned in the surah, including Nuh, Hud, Saleh, Shu'aib, Lut, and Musa, and how their people rejected their messages and were destroyed as a result. It notes themes like the importance of tawheed (monotheism), istighfar (repentance), and being steadfast. The document discusses why Muslims celebrate Eid. It begins by stating that Eid is a festival that Muslims are commanded by Allah to celebrate with joy and happiness, highlighting its importance. It then provides context that before the revelation of the Quran, mankind was in darkness regarding their true status and nature, enslaved by other men and forces of nature. The Quran revealed mankind's true position as masters over creation and destroyed all forms of human subjugation and slavery. It established a just social system where all people are equal. For this reason, Muslims celebrate Eid to commemorate receiving this "charter of freedom" from Allah through the Quran.

THE SACRIFICE HOW PRO-PALESTINE PROTESTS STUDENTS ARE SACRIFICING TO CHANGE T...indexPub
The recent surge in pro-Palestine student activism has prompted significant responses from universities, ranging from negotiations and divestment commitments to increased transparency about investments in companies supporting the war on Gaza. This activism has led to the cessation of student encampments but also highlighted the substantial sacrifices made by students, including academic disruptions and personal risks. The primary drivers of these protests are poor university administration, lack of transparency, and inadequate communication between officials and students. This study examines the profound emotional, psychological, and professional impacts on students engaged in pro-Palestine protests, focusing on Generation Z's (Gen-Z) activism dynamics. This paper explores the significant sacrifices made by these students and even the professors supporting the pro-Palestine movement, with a focus on recent global movements. Through an in-depth analysis of printed and electronic media, the study examines the impacts of these sacrifices on the academic and personal lives of those involved. The paper highlights examples from various universities, demonstrating student activism's long-term and short-term effects, including disciplinary actions, social backlash, and career implications. The researchers also explore the broader implications of student sacrifices. The findings reveal that these sacrifices are driven by a profound commitment to justice and human rights, and are influenced by the increasing availability of information, peer interactions, and personal convictions. The study also discusses the broader implications of this activism, comparing it to historical precedents and assessing its potential to influence policy and public opinion. The emotional and psychological toll on student activists is significant, but their sense of purpose and community support mitigates some of these challenges. However, the researchers call for acknowledging the broader Impact of these sacrifices on the future global movement of FreePalestine.

Ring Structure
4.
5. Introduction
Probably revealed during the last stage of Prophet hood in Makah.
“Yaseen is the heart of the Quran” (Ahmad, Abu Dawood, Nasai).
“Reciting of Yaseen near a dying person makes the ordeal easy for
him” (Mazhari).
6. Ruku 1 (Ayah 1-12)
Quran is full of Wisdom ---- ِيم ِحَّالر ِ
يز ِ
زَعْال
It is a clear proof that Prophet (SAWS) is a Messenger of Allah.
Quran is revealed to show ٍمۡيِقَتۡسُّم ٍاط َر ِ
ص - the straight path and also to warn people.
The psychological condition of the disbelievers;
They have long, tight collars around their necks, so their heads are forced up.
They have a barrier in front and behind them.
They have a veil in front of their eyes so they cannot see.
7. Emphasis on Resurrection – everything is recorded in a clear book;
Deeds and actions of a person
Impressions made on one-self and surroundings.
Influences left for the future.
8. Ruku 2 (Ayah 13-32)
Lessons from a story of Allah’s true servant.
Messengers have always been ridiculed;
You are human like us.
Allah has revealed nothing.
You are a liar, madman, or sorcerer.
Messengers were equaled to misfortune, threatening them and resorting to
violent tactics.
Support is found with honest & sincere people–a united stand for the truth.
9. Allah’s true servant becomes a true da’ee – presenting arguments to his people.
Confirms the validity of the Messengers, as their words & deeds are proof that
they call to the straight path.
The Messenger's ask for no gain or reward in exchange.
Human nature and logic demand the worship of the Only Creator.
Everyone is to ultimately die & return to their Creator.
Nothing can avail anyone, except the Most-Merciful.
No ill feelings, hatred, vengeance in his heart against the people, even though
they killed him.
10. Ruku 3 (Ayah 33-50)
There are ample signs, just turn around and look.
Vegetation, trees and plants.
Everything created in pairs.
The sun and the moon and the whole universe ---- ِيمِلَعْال ِيز ِ
زَعْال
The ships and the seas.
11. It is Allah’s will that people have different means, talents and abilities.
This ensures sustenance of a complex human society on this earth.
Spending in the way of Allah develops kindness and compassion, softens
hearts, disassociate one from worldly desire, reminds one of Hereafter.
The disbelievers attitude creates chaos in society, greed and selfishness.
12. Ruku 4 (Ayah 51-67
A scene from Day of Resurrection;
A quick, single blast will overtake everyone.
Everything will perish in the condition it is.
The trumpet will be blown to raise back to life again.
Justice will be done to every soul, based on their deeds
Believers dwell in paradise.
Disbelievers will have their bodies submit to Allah, & they will
not be able to speak themselves.
13. Ruku 5 (Ayah 68-83)
Old age is a second childhood, but without a child’s sweet innocence.
Quran is no place for poetry – full of wisdom, and warning for everyone.
Poetry expresses a human longing.
Poetry is an expression of reactions and desires.
Poetry changes to suit mood and desires.
Quran is advice, cure, guidance and mercy for mankind (Surah Yunus).
14. Recount the blessings of Allah and show gratitude – example of cattle.
Associating with Allah; Statues, stones, trees, stars, angels or jinn, and
also one own abilities superior to Allah.
When Allah can create a man from nothingness, He can bring back to life
from rotten and crushed bones.
Example of fire from a “green” tree.
Proof from science – DNA code.
ُميِلَعْال ُق َّ
ََّلخْال --- Supreme creator
15. Action Items Ruku 1-5
Prophethood of Rasolallah SAW --- Follow the advice
Stance of Faith and Disbelief --- Inviting to the Allah’s Way
Sincerity for the nation --- Become a DAWA worker
Clear Signs --- Ponder on the signs to increase connection with Allah SWT.
Scenes of day of Judgment --- Remind ourselves these scenes before
going to bed at night and daily evaluation
The Qur'an is admonition --- Fulfill the rights of the Qur'an

Am I sure? Yes No mostly
to some
extent
I consider the DAWA to be an obligatory responsibility.
I try to offer myself to volunteer for DAWA related activities.
I have read the Surah Yaseen’s Translation & Tafseer several times.
I try to do perpetual charity and avoid perpetual sins.
I blame Allah’s will for any of the shortcomings in my actions.
