 Say thou: if you fathers and your sons and
your brothers and your wives and your family
and the riches ye have acquired and the traffic
wherein ye fear a slackening and the dwellings
which please you are dearer unto you than
Allah and His apostle and striving in His cause,
then wait until Allah bringeth about His
decree, and Allah guideth not the ungodly
people. (24)
EYE AND EAR
 And remember ye said: "O Moses! We shall
never believe in thee until we see Allah
manifestly," but ye were dazed with thunder
and lighting even as ye looked on. (Surah Al-
Baqara, 55)
 Ye did indeed wish for death before ye met
him: Now ye have seen him with your own
eyes, (And ye flinch!) (Surah Al-Imran, 143)
•No vision can grasp Him, but His
grasp is over all vision: He is above
all comprehension, yet is
acquainted with all things. (Surah
Al-An‘am, 103)
•And they will say: "What has
happened to us that we see not men
whom we used to number among the
bad ones? (Surah Sâd, 62)
 Also, on the authority of Jurayr who
said, "I asked the Messenger of
Allah about accidentally looking at
something that is not allowed and
he said, ‘Turn your eyes away.'"
(Muslim).
 Have they feet to walk with? Or
hands to lay hold with? Or eyes
to see with? Or ears to hear with?
Say: "Call your 'god-partners',
scheme (your worst) against me,
and give me no respite! (Surah
Al-A‘raf, 195)
. Imam Ali said to someone seeking
advice:
“O questioner! Listen first, and
then understand. Then believe and
put what you have learned into
practice.”
TONGUE
 Verily , We have made this
(Quran) easy, in the tongue ,in
order that they may give heed
(surah Ad-Dukhan)
• On the Day when their tongue ,
their hands and their feet will bear
witness against them as to their
action.(surah An-Noor,24)
SPEAK THE TRUTH
 “O you who have faith! Be wary of
Allah
, and speak upright words.”(33:70)
SPEAK KIND TO PEOPLE
• Aperson may say a word that is
pleasing toAllah will, bestow his
pleasure upon him on the Day of
Judgement.
SPEAK WITH JUSTICE (QURAN
33:70)
• “O you who believe! Keep your duty to
Allah and fear Him , and speak (always) the
truth.”
• Speaking can be dangerous. So ,
we should control it within the limits
of Islam , guided by Allah and His
Messenger Muhammad (SAW).
• He said , “One from whose tongue
and hands the other Muslims are
secure.”
(Al-Bukhari and Muslim)
