24/7 service
Partnership working
During Wellbeing week we offered:
- Fresh fruit and bottled spring water, available from
our City Centre Library
- Walks & talks around our libraries
- Finding the good stuff Information
Literacy sessions
As a result, a student said
“…I felt somebody cared…”
In addition, our Library Peer Mentors
and Library Coaches use and develop
networks across BCU, encouraging the skill of making
connections
Ongoing training
Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training
“ASIST teaches participants to recognize when
someone may have thoughts of suicide and work with
them to create a plan that will support their immediate
safety”
