Why still it is a problem
 Approxemetly zero support from government
 No help or no any foundation
 No any law for women safety
 Poverty and game of politics involved

 Low ability to take risk

 Absence of mind for their ambitions
 Failure of police system for helping of women
 Family responsibility

• 27-31% of women in India suffer from dowry
• 10-12% of women are farmer
• 40-50%of women are not educated
• About 20-25% are under violent act in India

 The government has passed many laws so as to empower the women. These rule has empowered them politically,

Achievements
 Women have more opportunities for education and
stronger legal in many countries, they are taking leadership
roles in local communities, and stand at the forefront of the
peace movement.
 Perhaps the greatest change will come when women and
men are agree to work together for gender equality.
 International women rights agreements-women’s rights are
well-esatblished by international agreements ,notably the
international Convention on eradication of discrimination
against women(CEDAW).
 Since 1950-51 the total enrollment at the PRIMARY,UPPER
PRIMARY,SECONDARY and SENIOR SECONDARY stages
increses by 6,14 and 20 times respectively.
 The rate of litracy has gone up from 39.29% in 1991 ti 54.16%
in 2011
Sustainibility of the solution
 Swayamsidha launched in March 2001 and the Swa-
shakti project known as rural Women,s development
and empowerment project launched on october 1998.
 The UN Secretary-General's High-Level Panel on Global
Sustainability released its report “Resilient People,
Resilient Planet,A Future Worth Choosing,on 30 Jan 2011
in Addis Ababa. The 22-member panel established by UN
Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon in 2010 brought renowned
global leaders togetherto “formulate a new blueprint for a
sustainable future on a planet under
stress resulting from human activities
 Ensure universal access to quality and affordable family
planningand other sexual and reproductive rights and
and health services

 Achieving women’s economic empowerment is not a quick fix . It
will take sound public ,policies, a holistic approach and long-term
commitment from all development actors.
 Women’s economic empowerment is both a right and smart
economics
 Development actors need to reach and enhance opportunities for the
poorest of the poor and women in remote communities. Picking
winners is not enough.
