LG set up its primary manufacturing facility in India in 1997 near Delhi and has two other facilities in Pune and Dehradun. LG's supply chain involves planning, sourcing, procurement, conversion, logistics and management of suppliers, intermediaries and third party services. Forecasting is done twice monthly to inform inventory levels and production planning. LG also engages in e-retailing and has a separate service channel for parts and repairs.
