This document discusses different types of forces including contact forces, non-contact forces, frictional forces, magnetic forces, gravitational forces, electrostatic forces, muscular forces and mechanical forces. Contact forces are those applied through direct contact between objects like pushing or pulling. Non-contact forces act without direct contact, such as a falling coconut. Other force types discussed are magnetic, electrostatic, gravitational, muscular and frictional forces.

6. INTRODUCTION
In our daily life we use different type of
forces. The main types of forces are
MUSCULAR FORCE, MAGNETIC FORCE,
ELECTROSTATIC FORCE, GRAVITATIONAL
FORCE, MECHANICAL FORCE, FRICTIONAL
FORCE etc.

Force is that which changes or
tends to change the shape ,size,
volume , state of rest or state of
motion.

9. CONTACT FORCE
The force applied by the contact
between objects is called contact
force.
E.g.-pushing a car , pulling a
Trolley, throwing a ball.

10. NON CONTACT FORCE
The force applied on an object without
contact on it is non contact force .
Egg-a coconut falling from a coconut
tree , a magnet attracting a nail.

13. MAGNETIC FORCE
 A magnetic has the property of
attraction and repletion, this force
applied by the magnet is the
magnetic force.

14. ELECTROSTATIC FORCE.
A plastic pen when rubbed on hair
can attract small pieces of pepper
this is due to electrostatic forces.

15. GRAVITATIONAL FORCE
Object in the universe have an
attractive force between them, this
attractive force is the gravitational
forces.
MUSCULAR FORCE
 Man and other living creatures
use muscular force to do work.

16. MECHANICAL FORCE
Force in relation to motion is commonly
known as mechanical force.
FRICTIONAL FORCE
When an object moves over another
object , the force which opposes the
relative motion of the objects is the
frictional forces.
