Hydro ExcavationExcavation by means of water, air, and vacuum; By using water under pressure, soil can be cut, broken down, and vacuumed up into a recovery system, the Hydro-vac Truck
The Problem…
Why Vacuum Excavate
Prevent Change Orders

Subsurface Utility InvestigationT-Rex utilizes electronic Designation, “air knife” and hydro excavation for SUE.
Quality Levels of SUEQuality Level A - Vacuum Excavation:  The use of non-destructive vacuum excavation to determine the exact horizontal and vertical position of the utility.Quality Level B - Designating:  Employ geophysical methods to designate the horizontal position of the known utilities that lie within the project area. Quality Level C - Surface Feature Survey / Inventory:  Assessment of site utilities and correlating this information with existing utility records.Quality Level D - Records Research:  Provides a feel for the overall utility congestion and is limited to project planning and route selection. *T-Rex can provide personnel for manhole investigation and collection of utility data to assist in Quality Level C.
Deliverables
SUE Deliverables IncludePhoto documentation and “test hole data sheets”can be provided for every excavation.
