Field Technician
LTR
Hauled, serviced, rigged up/down, and maintained equipment on various locations. From a simple delivery of a light tower to
a softball field, to rigging up equipment on a drilling rig. I've worked with light towers, diesel and natural gas generators, 4x4
and 6x8 transfer pumps, drilling vacs, pit pumps, diesel sprayers, pressure washers, and hydraulic pumps. We would be
sent to rig them up, rig them down, troubleshoot, fix, and service them. Had to contact company men with etas, get tickets
signed, and keep a professional appearance and attitude. I had to decipher jobs sent to me and figure out proper fittings and
additional parts would suit the specific job properly. Worked on a forklift every day, to either pick up equipment on the yard to
wash it, or to load up equipment for a job.
Swamper / Yard Hand
Pilot Logistics
I was taught how to operate a Landoll flatbed which we used to winch up 10k-20k fuel tanks and bring to locations and rigs. I
learned how to prep fuel tanks and work with diesel pumps on them. I learned a little bit of stick and mig welding. I was also
one of two workers who would operate the diesel bulk plant for loading and offloading our tankards or third-party tankards at
our yard.
Swamper
Select Energy Services
I was a swamper for the hydro-excavator operator and the frac tank winch truck drivers. I've been to countless rigs and
locations and gained the essential awareness and knowledge by simply being on the location and learning whats going on.
I learned to operate the boom of the hydro-excavator. I learned how to prep sets of 11+ frac tanks at each job at a time. Our
winch team crew has won awards and was the only crew which EXCO supervisors wanted hauling and setting up their tanks.
We developed an outstanding relationship with them and earned our company a strong business partnership. We finished 6
hour jobs in 2 hours safety and efficiently.
Terminal Operator
BAE contractor for NuStar Energy
I was trained on how to manage and operate the largest NuStar facility. I had to police truck drivers with our 20 LACT unit
bays, ensuring they followed safety procedures and protocol. I had to sample H2S and gravity from crude oil. I had to
manage our tank levels to prevent overfilling or contamination of crude oil. We had to send timed and specific batches out
on a set schedule and we had to ensure none of the crude was contaminated. I was trained on how to fix and operate a
LACT unit.
