This document discusses how subcontracting can be managed in Odoo 13. Businesses can subcontract the production of finished goods through subcontractors. In Odoo, subcontracting is enabled through settings and then specified for individual bill of materials. Purchase orders can then be made for subcontracted products, and valuations show component quantities and values.

2.  Some businesses subcontract the production of some finished products through
subcontractors.
 This can be easily managed through Odoo.
INTRODUCTION

3.  Goto Manufacturing > Configuration > Settings >Enable Subcontracting

4.  Then Goto > Master Data > Bill of materials >Click on that product

5.  Specify the subcontractors and BoM type as Subcontracting > Save

6.  Make a purchase order for that product

7.  Click on Valuation

8. We can see the quantity and total value for the components
