In this health unit, we will discuss importance
of planning and eating a healthy diet.
 
We will draw the food pyramid and
categorize foods within each category. 
We will practise healthy eating habits, and
most importantly, how choosing healthy
habits will affect how we grow and learn.
We will create our own slideshow
presentations to show healthy food choices
and how choices affect us.
It is important to be
healthy and fit, to do
this everyone needs
to make healthy
choices as individuals
and stay active by
having fun and
exercising.
Nutrition is the key
concept we are going
learn, this will help us
stay healthy and

Healthy Eating
Healthy eating means eating a variety of
foods that give you the nutrients you need to
maintain your health, feel good, and have
energy. These nutrients include protein,
carbohydrates, fat, water, vitamins, and
minerals.
Nutrition is important for everyone. When
combined with being physically active and
maintaining a healthy weight, eating well is an
excellent way to help your body stay strong
and healthy. What you eat can affect your
immune system, your mood, and your energy
level.

Fruit Group should provide 4 daily
servings, or 2 cups.
Vegetable Group should provide 5
servings, or 2.5 cups.

which should be whole grains.

value. It could cause health problems.

First ,add ice and yogurt Peel and slice the banana. Then
Pour the banana shake Into a glass Blend until it’s
smooth. Next, Put the banana slices in the blender.
Finally, pour the banana milk shake in a glass and enjoy it.

Dear diary,
It was an amazing unit . we learnt about healthy food. Food
classified into five groups which contains all our body needs
like energy,vitamins,carbohidrates and minerals which help
us to grow up healthier,defete diseases.
We have to choose our food services from the food pyramid .
We were happy to create our own healthy food and tell our
families to follow it.
