NASA Ames Research Center,Air Traffic Management Intern - Summer 2015
● Conducted 10 weeks of research under the Air Traffic Management Division of NASA Ames
● Focused on machine learning algorithms to predict fuel consumption of commercial aircraft
● Developed features in MATLAB and analyze meaningful patterns in Rstudio from publicly
available weather data,extracted from the Global Forecast System
● Showcased findings and application of machine learning techniques in fuel consumption
optimization to the Division Chief, as well as the research center in a poster symposium
