2. QUESTIONS FOR REFLECTION:
1. How is technologya mode of revealing?
We applytechnologyinalmosteverythingwe doinourdailylives;we use technology at
work,we use technologyforcommunication,transportation, learning, manufacturing, securing
data, scaling businesses and so much more. In lieu of this, it suffices the argument that
technology can be a mode of revelation, since one of its goals is to serve as an outlet for its
purpose and function. Technology is human knowledge which involves tools, materials, and
systemsthatwe have alreadystartedto claspas our worldbecomesmodern. The application of
technology typically results in products, which have its own importance.
2. In your daily experience of technology, what else is revealed to you aside from its function?
Technologyinourdailylivesisundeniable.Thisisdue tothe factthat in today’sdynamic
world, life without technology is meaningless. Technology, which basically refers to bringing
togethertoolsthatease creation,use and exchange of information, has a major goal of making
taskseasierto execute aswell assolvingmanymankind’sproblems.Astechnology continues to
advance and directevenmore easinessinourlives,there is a need to stress how advantageous
it hasbeento our lives. Moreover,technologyhaschangedourwayof thinkingand how we see
things;infact, thishasbeena vital factor thataffectshow we choose the communitytobe with.
3. Why should technology be questioned?
Due to having history on how humanity only developed inventions for the sake of
money,power,fame,and glory, technology should be questioned. Though, given the fact that
technology has given us so many advantages, we still cannot deny the truth that it also has its
cons inso manydifferentways.We mustchallengetechnologytosetboundariesconcerningour
personal life. Naturally, this will result into chaos.
4. How is questioning the piety of thought?
The pietyof thoughtis elucidatedasthe obedience and submission which has changed
our routine inourdailylives,also,impactedas to modernization. There are numerous benefits
from technology. It is remarkable how a society can easily adapt and never cease to ask
questions.Ourcollective consciousness,withitscuriosity,hasbroughtthe human life to a place
where we can refrigerate our food instead of hunting like our ancestors did.

3. 5. How does art provide a way out of enframing?
Art furnishes uswithawayout of enframingbybringinguscloserto poiesis and further
away from techne. This means that art activates human sensitivity if it even exists in an
individual. The embodimentinadevice,asopposedtooccurringthroughthe mind or in natural
world and seeing things the way they are is part of poiesis. Its main goal is to make us realize
that we need to nurture and appreciate the purpose and importance of each innovated
technology.
