These are the slides from a talk I gave at dropbox this month (Feb 2012). It was a narrative about the evolution of bitly and a technical presentation about algorithms and infrastructure. The live demo portion is not represented in the slides (and each of the visuals has an accompanying story).
As author Emily Giffin once said, “Everyone wants to belong, or be a part of something bigger than themselves, but it's important to follow your heart and be true to yourself in the process.” This quote perfectly sums up what employee advocacy is all about: empowering employees to promote their company's message on social media and, in the process, allowing them to develop their personal brand, and position themselves as trusted advisors and thought leaders in their own networks.
Dell, InfusionSoft, SAP, and United Way, among others, are putting employee advocacy to work with the help of EveryoneSocial, the leading platform for employee advocacy and first to solely focus on the employee and employee advocacy. Founded in 2013, EveryoneSocial makes it easy for your employee and brand advocates to share original and curated content on social media, helping you to align, simplify, and measure your company’s social publishing efforts.
You’ll want to join us on our exclusive, live webinar with EveryoneSocial to discuss:
· Identifying your employee advocacy objectives
· Educating and motivating your employee and brand advocates
· Giving advocates guidelines and tools for social advocacy success
· Defining the employee advocacy metrics to track

Functional safety case study for lithium-ion batteries - presentation by Dari...Torben Haagh
The issue of safety has always been one of the most important topics for the automotive industry. What are the functional safety implications on EV/lithium-ion batteries?
To help in understanding what is involved Dariusz Szymanski from Flanders’ DRIVE gave a presentation at our previous European ISO 26262 conference on the topic of "Functional safety case study for lithium-ion batteries"

Midem Visionary Monday: The Age of ContextRobert Scoble
A speech I gave at the Midem technology conference on January 28, 2013 about the Age of Context. How sensors, wearable computing, big data, social data, location data are all combining to bring us a predictive and personalized future.
This presentation outlines ways that data already affects our lives, how integration with social and mobile can sometimes lead to the wrong conclusion by not taking into consideration the motivation behind the data, and how big data could potentially work to our benefit.
«Travis CI – what's inside?» presented by Piotr Sarnacki (Warsaw) Rails contributor and Ember.js enthusiast. Currently works on Travis CI as a part of OSS Grant Program sponsored by EngineYard.
