- 2. Our team We goto Casimir III the Great Primary School number 30 in Lublin. We are a group of friends, who go to the 6th grade, we are all 11-12 years old. We have different interests, but together we want to learn more about other cultures and be able to speak English freely.
- 3. In which countrydo you live? We live in Poland. It’s a country located in Central Europe, at the Baltic Sea. .
- 4. Poland is avery diverse country. There is the sea in the North and mountains in the South. The capital of our country is Warsaw, and the main river is called “Wisła”. A lot of famous people lived in our country: Mikołaj Kopernik, Fryderyk Chopin, Marie Skłodowska-Curie and Pope John Paul II. Food in Poland is delicious. The most popular are: dumplings, specific meat chops, and sour stew which we call “żurek”. People in Poland are very kind and friendly.
- 5. Where is yourcity? We live in Lublin. It’s a city located in South-Eastern Poland, by the “Bystrzyca” river. Our city is the capital of the voivodeship and a large academic centre.
- 6. In Lublin thereare a lot of monuments, for example the Old Town and the fourteenth-century Castle. There are many theatrical and cultural events, such as the Carnival of the Arts, the Night of Culture. Modern sport objects in Lublin: ❏ the Aqua Lublin swimming pool complex ❏ the Arena Lublin stadion.
- 7. When you visitLublin you must see the multimedia fountain show at the Litewski Square and eat a regional onion bun (in Poland called “Cebularz”).
- 8. Which city orEuropean country would you like to visit and why? Our classmates love travelling, so we want to visit many countries. We like to explore new places, get to know different cultures and interesting monuments. Our friends have been already to many European countries but they still want to visit Germany, Great Britain, France and Greece.
- 9. Do you likereading books and how many stories have you read? Yes, of course! We love reading books. Our favourite books are “Harry Potter” and “Hobbit”. Some classmates like reading mangas. How many stories have we read? - It’s hard to count, there were so many :)
- 10. Do you haveany extracurricular activities at school? Yes, we do! In fact, we have lots of options, so that everyone can find something for himself/herself. Some of us do karate, sing in choir, participate in swimming lessons, play chess and more. We’ve got also extra Polish, English, Maths and History classes.
- 11. Do you likeEnglish? Of course! We really like speaking English, because it’s fun and it lets us talk to new people. We learn English to be able to travel to many new places in the world. In fact, two people from our class are from English speaking countries. Paul is from the UK and Gaja is from Ireland!
- 12. What is yourfavourite sport? Our favourite sports are football, swimming, karate, volleyball, F1 and basketball. The best players of these sports are Robert Lewandowski, Robert Kubica, Wilfredo Leon, Marcin Gortat, Otylia Jędrzejczak and Mirosław Guzik.
- 13. Which languages canyou speak? We speak Polish and English. Some of us speak a bit of Japanese, German and Spanish. Maybe we'll learn a new language in our meetings.
- 14. What are yourhobbies? Our e-Twinning team is interested in: • watching anime • playing video games • watching sports, from volleyball to F1 • swimming • some people like sewing • we like animals • watching films, series and listening to music
- 15. Zuzia & Julia Hi!I’m Susan and I’m 11 years old. I’m very interested in animals! I really like frogs and cats. They are my favourite animals. I also love watching anime and reading books or mangas. My hobbies are listening to music and cosplaying. My favourite countries are Japan and Korea. My greatest passion is swimming. I have been training for six years. My idols are Otylia Jędrzejczak and Michael Phelps. I have been a girl scout for two years. When I have free time I read books and listen to music. I also like mountain trekking and taking photos. Hi! My name is Julia and I am 11 years old.

I love having things i made myself and giving them to others. In my free time, i often reach for an adventure book or play computer games. I hope i can get to know you soon! Hi! My name is Julia. I’m 11 years old and I’m from Poland. I have brother, he’s 3 years younger than me. His name is Stanley. Our pets are two rabbits and cat. I like watching films and series, listening to music and singing. My favorite performers are Ed Sheeran, Dawid Kwiatkowski and Sanah (Polish singers). I also do karate. It’s my passion. My favorite subjects at school are biology, Polish and English.
- 17. Michał Hello my nameis Michael. I am 12 years old. My hobbies are football, F1, Fifa, volleyball and basketball. My idols are Robert Lewandowski, Wilfredo Leon and Max Verstappen. I like school but sometimes I am tired.

My favourite book is called “Hobbit” and my favourite singer is Sanah. My favourite footballer is Ronaldo. My favourite subject is History. I am funny and always smiling. I haven’t got pets but I have little brother. My biggest dream is to go to the stadium “Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.“ Hi! My name is Igor I’m 11 years old my hobbies are Formula 1, go-karts and football. I haven’t got any pets but I have a little brother, sometime he is like an animal… :) I play football in Vrotcovia Lublin. You can find this club on Facebook. Apart from football and Formula 1, I like playing video games on PS4. My favourite game is F1 2021. Of course I watch series, films and listen to music.
