My new and updated storyboard for "Biddulph" My Media trailer project

1. Storyboard

2. Black screen The voice of a male can be heard in the background – “Have a good night?”

3. Cut to a shot of the woods with a couple walking together Day shot Long shot so the viewer can see both the main characters (Indicated by them being the first characters seen in the trailer) as well as the surrounding area (Trees, a sort of wooded area – This will hopefully give the impression of the setting of the film)

4. …the girl then says… Where are we?... Where is the tent?... Where is everyone?! We should probably get back to the tent The boy says… Day shot Sticking with the long shots – Shows that they are getting no closer to their friends which they are looking for

5. THIS YEAR Beat of a drum!

6. A shot of a tree… … then a lifeless face pokes around the corner of the tree Night shot (Sun going down) Long shot to show the tree, and so the person is visible when they peak around

7. Where are we? I want to go home! New shot of the couple next to a tree Slow, scary music playing in background (Violin solo preferable) Night shot (Sun going down) Another long shot!

8. The lifeless person looks out from behind the tree Night shot (Sun going down) Another long shot!

9. Black screen Scared girl saying “It’s them – It’s our friends”

10. Music speeds up, more bass, more drums A chase scene between the main couple and the rest of the lifeless friends following Night shot (Sun going down) Long shot, and the camera will also pan to follow the main characters (Who will be central at the time)

11. The girl falls over The couple call for each other in two different shots EDWARD?! AMY?! Night shot (Sun going down) Long shot to show both characters A closer shot, only show the body of the person. And ONLY the body of the person A closer shot, only show the body of the person. And ONLY the body of the person

12. Close-up shot of Amy’s face as she breathes heavily Then zoom out to show zombified friends standing behind her Zooming out… Night shot (Sun going down)

13. Shot of Amy meeting a member of the group that we have not seen before. Music starts again, slow beat. Night shot (Sun going down) Back to the long shots!

14. He says… Help me. Help. Me. Hellllp… mm. mm. meeeee Aarrhghghghgh! Before falling to the ground… Music is a slow beat getting faster Night shot (Sun going down) Close up of face! Long shot, high angle

15. Then getting back up to reveal he has transformed into a lifeless being The beat gets faster and faster – A big loud long note is played when the lifeless person is revealed Night shot (Sun going down) Over the shoulder shot!

17. Shot of girl looking around in the woods – She looks very scared (Crying, or close to) The music has a few large drum beats – This is to give the feeling of a time limit. Day shot Long shot

33. Then back to a shot of the couple, this time they are climbing the tree they were running to before – Panic on faces as they are unable to get up the tree… The camera is shaky! Night Shot (Sun going down) Long shot Low angle

35. Back to the shot of the zombified friends running towards the characters – They are getting closer as the camera turns to reveal how close they are! (Stationery camera, panning shot) Night Shot (Sun going down) Long shot Long shot – Low angle

36. Music stops, cut to black screen! Instant! No Music!

37. Instant cut to a shot of zombified version of Amy… She sways a couple of times, before fading out… No music. Night Shot (Sun going down) Close up

38. BIDDULPH The title of my movie is shown with a black background A loud singular drum beat is heard (Dragged out until the screen fades – This fades into a single note of music that fades out as the title does

39. New shot. No music. Long shot of a character we have not seen before (A male character) is seen urinating on a tree. The camera approaches him… Slowly When the shot is a close up of his head and shoulders, the viewer sees a hand extended to touch the persons shoulder. The persons face is not seen for ‘scary’ reasons – This puts the viewer in the role of the character

40. As soon as the hand touches the persons shoulder, the screen again cuts to black (With only the text “Coming soon” – No music. This is the last part of the trailer… Coming soon...
