- 2. This picture illustrates a real story. Look at it and make guesses about the story: 1. What happened? 2. How did it happen? 3. How did she feel?
- 3. The title of the story is “Wrong Number”. How can you relate it to what you think happened?
- 4. Let’s check our guesses. First, listen to your teacher read the story as you look at the pictures.

Suddenly, a car crashed into Mary’s house! The living room wall fell down. It fell on Mary’s chair. Mary went back into the living room. She was shocked. But she was happy, too! She was not happy about the wall. She was not happy about her favorite chair. But she was happy about the wrong number!
