Stickables aims to make IoT sensing accessible to everyday people by enabling low-cost smart stickers that can be placed anywhere to monitor environments. The stickers would connect via mesh networks to smartphones and other devices, then upload data to an analytics platform. This would allow ubiquitous monitoring of environments at low prices. The company plans to roll out the technology in three phases - first harvesting basic data, then enabling devices to react to insights, and finally optimizing systems based on recursive learning. By democratizing environmental monitoring, Stickables hopes to improve understanding and make changes powered by gathered awareness.
