This document provides the summary of a Sunday school lesson on financial prosperity from God. It discusses five vital truths: 1) Christians are children of God, 2) God is their heavenly father who is rich, 3) His children are also rich, 4) God promises to give His children riches, 5) God withholds prosperity from those who cannot be trusted with money or do not have faith in Him. It encourages having faith in God by taking Him at His word and obeying His commands, and promises financial blessing through faith. The next lesson will be on God's secrets to financial prosperity.

1. Sunday School Lessons:

“How to Get More Money from God”

3. FIVE VITAL TRUTHS:
Vital Truth #1
YOU ARE A CHILD OF GOD IF YOU ARE A TRUE
CHRISTIAN
“For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.”
Galatians 3:26
4. FIVE THINGS GOD WANTS YOU TO
KNOW
(1) You need to be saved.
Romans 3:23
We have all broken the Laws of God.
(2) You cannot save yourself.
Titus 3:5
(3) Jesus has provided for your salvation.
John 3:16
Romans 5:8
5. (4) You must accept Jesus for salvation.
Acts 16:31
John 1:12
(5) Now is the time to accept Jesus as your Savior.
2 Corinthians 6:2
Now, if you will receive Christ as your only Savior, simply
pray this prayer from your heart and mean it....
Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and that You
died for me and rose again. I now ask You to forgive me
for my sins and come into my heart and save me.
Thank You, Lord, for saving me. In Jesus Name I pray.
Amen.
6. Vital Truth #2
AS A CHILD OF GOD, BELIEVE THAT GOD IS YOUR
HEAVENLY FATHER
John 1:12 "But as many as received Him (Jesus Christ), to
them gave he power to become the sons of God, even
to them that believe on his name:“
Galatians 4:6 “And because you are sons, God has sent
forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out,
"Abba, Father!”
7. Vital Truth #3
BELIEVE THAT YOUR FATHER IS VERY RICH.
Psalms 24:1 "The earth is the Lord's, and the fullness
thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.“
Haggai 2:8 "The silver is mine, and the gold is mine,
says the Lord of hosts."
8. Vital Truth #4
SINCE YOUR HEAVENLY FATHER IS RICH, BELIEVE
THAT YOU ARE ALSO RICH BEING HIS SON,
except that you have not enough money.
Remember, you are a child of the KING.
Revelation 2:9 "I know your...poverty, but you are
rich."
9. Vital Truth #5
BELIEVE IN YOUR FATHER'S PROMISES THAT HE
WILL GIVE YOU HIS RICHES.
Romans 8:32 "He that spared not his own Son, but
delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him
also freely give us all things?"
To Timothy, Paul said, 1 Timothy 6:17 "...trust...in the
living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy"
And in Philippians 4:19 "But my God shall supply all
your need according to his riches in glory by Christ
Jesus."
10. WHY then, are most Christians
poor? WHY not most children
of God have enough money?
The answer is:
GOD WITHHOLDS FINANCIAL
PROSPERITY FROM HIS CHILDREN
11. FIRST: God withholds financial
prosperity
BECAUSE THEY CANNOT BE
TRUSTED WITH HIS MONEY
He mentions four cases:
12. A. PRIDE
- Some of God's children, when they prosper
become proud.
Deuteronomy 8:14
"when your heart is lifted up, and you forget the LORD
your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt,
from the house of bondage;
13. B. FORGETTING GOD
- Some of God's children, when they prosper
forget the LORD their God.
Deuteronomy 8:14
"when your heart is lifted up, and you forget the LORD
your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt,
from the house of bondage;
14. A SERIOUS WARNING IS GIVEN:
Deuteronomy 8:11-18
Be careful that you do not forget the LORD your God, failing to observe his
commands, his laws and his decrees that I am giving you this day.
12 Otherwise, when you eat and are satisfied, when you build fine houses and
settle down,
13 and when your herds and flocks grow large and your silver and gold increase
and all you have is multiplied,
14 then your heart will become proud and you will forget the LORD your God,
who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.
15 He led you through the vast and dreadful desert, that thirsty and waterless
land, with its venomous snakes and scorpions. He brought you water out of
hard rock.
16 He gave you manna to eat in the desert, something your fathers had never
known, to humble and to test you so that in the end it might go well with you.
17 You may say to yourself, "My power and the strength of my hands have
produced this wealth for me."
18 But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to
produce wealth,
15. C. LOVING MONEY
- Some of God's children, as soon as they prosper
quickly transfer their love from God to His money.
We read in 1 Timothy 6:10
For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some
people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith
and pierced themselves with many griefs For the love
of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people,
eager for money, have wandered from the faith and
pierced themselves with many griefs
16. D. WRONG SPENDING
- Some of God's children when they become prosperous,
spend their money on evil things, selfish and foolish
things and wordly pleasures.
James 4:2-3
You want something but don't get it. You kill and covet,
but you cannot have what you want. You quarrel and
fight. You do not have, because you do not ask God.
3 When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask
with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get
on your pleasures.
17. SECOND: God WITHHOLDS
financial prosperity
BECAUSE THEY DO NOT HAVE
FAITH IN HIM.
What is faith? The simple definition is:
FAITH IS TAKING GOD AT HIS
WORD.
18. Luke 5:4-6
4 When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, "Put
out into deep water, and let down the nets for a catch."
5 Simon answered, "Master, we've worked hard all night
and haven't caught anything. But because you say so, I
will let down the nets."
6 When they had done so, they caught such a large
number of fish that their nets began to break.
19. 1. NOTICE THE COMMAND WITH A PROMISE:
Luke 5:4
2. THEIR OBEDIENCE:
Verse 5
3. THE LORD'S PROMISE FULFILLED:
Verse 6
20. BLESSING THROUGH FAITH
Faith is taking God at His Word.
God's promises are true.
God, Who cannot lie, has made promises
and God's children must believe and act
on His promises.
Mark 11:22-24, Luke 6:38
Proverbs 3:9-10, 2 Corinthians 9:6-8
Malachi 3:8-12, Philippians 4:19
