We Are A Community of Honor
"Let me give you a new command: Love
one another. In the same way I loved you,
you love one another. This is how
everyone will recognize that you are my
disciples—when they see the love you
have for each other." (John 13:34-35, The
Message)

says: I promised that your branch of
the tribe of Levi would always be my
priests. But I will honor those who
honor me, and I will despise those who
think lightly of me." (I Samuel 2:30,
NLT)

mutual exploitation, a mental or physical
barter, to be terminated when one or
both parties run out of goods.”
-Wiston Auden.

people who love poorly. The hard truth is that all
people love poorly. We need to forgive and be
forgiven every day, every hour increasingly. That is
the great work of love among the fellowship of the
weak that is the human family.”
― Henri J.M. Nouwen
