The Clean Power Plan and CHP: How Combined Heat and Power can help Ohio achie...Ohio Environmental Council
On August 3, 2015 the US EPA finalized the Clean Power Plan (CPP), which requires states to reduce carbon emissions from power plants using a variety of strategies, including Combined Heat and Power (CHP). The US EPA gave states a great amount of flexibility in how to meet carbon reduction goals, creating an opportunity for the state to take advantage of Ohio's great CHP potential.
As Ohio moves forward with developing a state plan, this webinar will examine precisely how the Clean Power Plan treats CHP and what options the state has to include CHP as a carbon-reducing strategy. Webinar participants will have the opportunity to ask questions of presenters and review presentation materials after the conclusion of the webinar.
Recently, Dayton Power & Light (DP&L) launched a CHP-specific incentive under the electric utility’s custom rebate program, per the policy established by Governor Kasich’s 21st Century Energy Initiative (Ohio Senate Bill 315). This presentation features DP&L energy efficiency program staff who provide details on the program incentive that is available to customers of Dayton Power & Light. Additionally, facilitators of the Ohio Coalition for Combined Heat and Power provide a state policy update.

Utilising the OJEU compliant Framework procured by Peterborough City council, they have successfully deployed now a number of EnPC contracts with Honeywell. In this session, the Corporate Director of Resources - John Harrison, supported by Honeywell, will demonstrate how he has transformed this into a new source of funds for the Council (PCC are realising new funds of up to £4.5M) and how the Framework is available to all other Local Authorities, allowing them a fast and simple access to realise the same benefits.
This is a case study from a recent job FRG completed with an aggregate company in the Maryland area. This is a relatively young facility and we still we're able to save them money.
Anglian Water and Connected Energy worked together on a project to understand how to maximise the potential of renewable energy projects and offer grid services support by integrating E-STOR energy storage systems on sites.
Anglian Water's aim was to make the most of storing energy generated from their renewable sources, like the solar panels they plan to install across the region. Integrating batteries into these projects would ensure more of the renewable power is used onsite.
The installed system also took advantage of any time of day energy costs differences and assessed the potential for the system to supply energy grid services at further Anglian Water sites.
Manufacturing in America 2016 PACE presentation. How to use the money already being spent on the inefficient use of energy to become more energy efficient with no upfront cost.
A LARGE UK-BASED WATER UTILITY SWITCHED TO RESULTSBeth Miller
The need to promote energy efficiency and to bring a control on energy consumption was achieved through Big Data Analytics. Continuous monitoring and Reporting was conducted to safeguard compliance and quality. This helped to achieve more than 8% energy savings over 12 months.
This paper will outline and showcase the success of local authorities across England that have used Salix Finance to enable energy efficiency projects and reduce energy bills and carbon emissions, through installing energy efficient street lights. It will look at the benefits that these projects bring to authorities and include case study examples of projects, as well as details for ongoing funding and how this can be accessed. A focus will be made on Kent County Council’s ongoing LED street lighting conversion, one of the largest programmes of its kind to date in the UK. The programme has been partly funded by Salix Finance. Key representatives from Kent will share technical and delivery lessons learnt from undertaking the programme.

Unveiling the Secrets How Does Generative AI Work.pdfSam H
At its core, generative artificial intelligence relies on the concept of generative models, which serve as engines that churn out entirely new data resembling their training data. It is like a sculptor who has studied so many forms found in nature and then uses this knowledge to create sculptures from his imagination that have never been seen before anywhere else. If taken to cyberspace, gans work almost the same way.
