I currently work in retail with Tesco, throughout my career I have picked up a large skill set of
leadership and technical behaviours which I believe are transferable to other retailers.
I have worked in several superstores covering a multitude of roles at Tesco in my 26 years.
Alongside this I have had consistent Strong delivery of result and performance which has supported
my developmental moves across all formats of the company.
I am proud of my achievements to date in particular the last 5 years with the growth of the Tesco
Express format, I have opened 7 new stores and delivered 10 refreshes and all have achieved
targeted turnover/targets in every instance.
I have a history of strong performance reviews and delivery of objectives.
Managing many varied situations across the Express format has also broadened my technical
knowledge to include petrol forecourt operations/Impulse Customer habits/Cash Routines.

- Managed 19 direct report Store Managers to deliver kpi's across People/Finance/Operatons and Customer.
- Controlled wages budgets through accurate sales and payroll forecasting
- Supported the Discipline and Grievance of Store teams when appropriate and control of absence

- Audited the stores to ensure that health and safety standards achieved and consistent performance of routines/procedure

- I was responsible for the running of 3 Tesco sites during this time in Driffield/Bridlington and Beverley.
- Ensuring that a team of 5 direct reports managed colleague numbers from 100-250 so that teams were motivated/organised and

- Oversee the customer experience for salesfloor standards and service.
- Ensure that Store kpis were delivered
- I Managed trade patterns of seasonality and ensured I had plans for any adverse kpis.
- Managed all round offer of fresh food/clothing and non-food and maintained controls and ensured teams were technical experts
- I Ensured team were safe and stock loss and wastage minimised, through my stock control team
