Stephen King is an American author born in 1942 who has written over 30 bestselling books in the horror, supernatural, suspense, and fantasy genres. Some of his most famous novels adapted into films include IT, Pet Sematary, and The Shining. King has sold over 350 million copies of his novels worldwide and his creative vision for telling disturbing stories has inspired up-and-coming filmmakers.

2. Stephan King was born on September 21st, 1942. Stephan King has written over 30 books
and successfully sold them world wide as best sellers. Stephen King is an American author
who is an expert in the horror, supernatural fiction, suspense, and fantasy genre. All of kings
disturbing novels are based on these generes. He has sold more than 350 million copies of
these novels, and many have been adapted into very successful films & television series’s
over the last 30 years. The reason I have chose Stephan King is because I am really inspired
by his creative vision to create a story, as an upcoming film maker myself I take pride in great
stories and Kings are exceptional. King has created many stories over the years such as IT,
Pet Cemetery, The Shining. These books have all turned into really famous stories which have
been taken over to the big screen of television because of his genius horror mind. Stephen
King admitted in numerous interviews that he was under the influence of illegal substances
whilst in the process of writing these books. My personal favourite book/movie from King is
The Shining because of the thrilling storytelling and strong character developments. Stephen
King studied his years are Lisbon High School and then transferred to the University of Maine.
