From early age he had a strong fascination for a human face He made a lot of sketches of his family and friends In high school he realizes that his calling was portraiture He focused on painting classes and studied color theory in college in New York 30 years ago he left art school and New York and began to establish himself as a professional artist
First he painted for himself His move to Mexico influenced his work greatly – he focused on creating pictures that would bring joy to others, a new world of possibilities opened up
He has travelled to over  30  countries during the last 20 years He looks for indigenous people to capture their soulful faces and ritual adornments through colorful paintings on a grand scale He wants to preserve and celebrate the world’s diversity through a unique style of realism The focus of his paintings is on the eyes
is to paint 1,000 portraits to be exhibited worldwide. Young, old, joyful, and withered faces populate these vibrant canvases, celebrating a variety of ethnic strains.
