Re: JOINT STEM OUTREACH PROGRAMME
The above subject refers.
I am writing to you today to request a joint STEM outreach program between the
Centre for Mathematics, Science and Technology Education in Africa (CEMASTEA)
and our organization, Kisii University to secondary schools in Kisii County, Kenya.
We would like to propose a joint program that involves CEMASTEA representatives
and some Kisii University members visiting some schools in Kisii County where
learners from several schools have been pooled together to deliver presentations and
workshops on STEM. Our organization would be happy to provide logistical support
and work with the CEMASTEA to develop a program that meets the needs of local
schools.
As you may know, Kisii County is located in the western part of Kenya and is home
to many secondary schools. However, many of these schools lack the resources and
expertise needed to provide their students with a high-quality education in STEM. I
believe that your organization has the expertise and resources needed to help these
2. schools improve their educational programs.
