Brand Simplicity Enterprise is a registered private company established by CUT students from
Thaba Nchu ‘Keamogetse Kenneth Ngakantsi (3rd
Year Internal Auditing) and Vuyani Bongani
Masimini (3RD
Year Clinical Technology) which received a prize of R10 000 from Academic
Development and Support a department aimed at development of graduates in to global citizens
at the Central University of Technology ,Private Company that liaise with Basic Education,
Entrepreneurs and Institutions of Higher Education to mobilize university students to make a
difference in their communities while developing critical thinking ,public speaking and soft skills
the skills to become socially responsible business leaders , It has erected a library in ST Augustines
Primary School at Thaba Nchu which should be replicated in the Motheo district as part of its
graduate attribute .
The company specialise in erecting libraries in the public schools , establish debate and public
speaking teams in school as well as in the university that are organised workshops ,conventions
,training and competitions on academic writing, debate and public speaking competitions
.Participating learners form teams on their schools and stand a chance to participate provincially
and nationally the projects aimed at improving the quality of life and standard of education for
learners. An annual series of regional and national competitions provides a forum for teams to be
evaluated by guests from the Department of Basic Education serving as judges.
Brand Simplicity Enterprise together with Central University of Technology and its private partners
hosted a Library Pre launch erected at St Augustines Primary ,Career Expo, Inter School
Intellectual Competitions on the 27th of May 2016 hosting more than 300 learners and 10
guests/exhibitors the event started at 10:00am until 16:00, various sponsorships and donors
were sourced including Cold rink from TWIZZA,bread from premier foods and two sheep from
Bophepha HSE ,marketing material etc from other stakeholders .

3. 27 May we hosted the library pre launch ,career expo and inter school intellect tournament at
Selosesha Public Library , in this event various stakeholders were involved in the planning and
monitoring of the event ,we sent proposals to Albany as well as Premier foods , we managed to
get the sponsorship from Premier foods to enhance our breakfast on the day in this regard

BOPHEPHA HSE is a Occupational Health and Safety business that sponsored the lunch by
providing a sheep and other technical assistance throughout the planning including the
preparation of braai
We had a proactive team in the kitchen for breakfast and lunch on the day
4. TWIZZA proudly sponsored our event beyond our expectations as though we had asked for 120
Coldrinks and received 760 in aggregate we managed to cater for more than 500 people who were
hosted on the day , I t will be more than an honoured to liaise again in the upcoming endeavours
and continue marketing our proud sponsors
Sky country was sent a proposal to cut for us the meat and sponsor some of the breakfast
ingredients, though they could not sponsor the ingredients due to a late request they however
provisioned the services to cut the meat for us with no market value
5. Protea Hotel Willow Lake however it had indicated that it had other commitment however this did
not stop them from providing a complimentary ticket to a one night stay for 2 with breakfast to
the value of R1750 which was dated for our event’s date and titled the name of our events , we
were honoured and assumed the social contract to brand the hotel and have their logo as well on
our poster

6. Guests and exhibitors were invited to network with the learners and community and provide the
information necessary to address the social ills among this was ABASA(Advancement of Black
Accountants in Southern Africa ) ,CUT SRC ,Brilliance Extra Class,SAPS,PACASA(Professional
Association of Clinical Associates in South Africa),Royal House, Primary and High Schools, CUT
Faculty of Humanities ,Academic Development and Support, Writing Centre and Civil society
7. ST Augustines Primary School violin team was invited to perform an opening ceremony
CUT Debate Society assisted in the adjudication of public speaking competitions ,with Library
personell assist in judging spelling B and CUT Writing Centre assessing the essay writing candidates
8. 11 Schools were invited for the career expo among this 8 schools were engaging in a tournament
on various activities (Debate, Public Speaking,Spellng B ,Poetry ,Chess and Essay Writing the
participation was was at its best,learnes showcasing their talents
9. The candidates were provided a certificate of participation to all candidates who were taking part
in the tournament
10. Everyone got catered for including the overall audience that had came for the career expo
