Team #1 is designing a system to take energy from solar PV arrays and batteries and distribute it safely through a DC circuit using a controller. They recently tested a DC-DC converter and ordered additional parts. Upcoming tasks include developing a microcontroller algorithm, further testing prototype parts and the DC-DC converter, fabricating a senior design demo, and testing battery charging with the prototype.
