A statistical study analyzed divorce rates among occupations in the US using 2015 census data. It found that gaming managers and bartenders had the highest divorce rates at 52.9% and 52.7% respectively, while actuaries had the lowest at 17%. The study also found that divorce rates tended to decline as median salary increased, with most divorces occurring between $20,000-$40,000 annually. Financial security was determined to be a strong preventative factor for divorce.
