There are about 500 students from the 1st to the 11th forms and 52
teachers in our gymnasia.
Size of school:
The gymnasia is big and beautiful. It is 30 years old.
There are three floors where 63 classrooms are situated.
We have such studies as computer,
chemistry, physics,
Russian language and literature,
Belarusian language and literature,
English, gym and others.
School emblem, colors or mascot:
Our gymnasium has an emblem and a hymn.

is situated in 120 km
from the capital of
Belarus Minsk. There are
6 regions in Belarus and
we are in Minsk region.
Our town is 494 years
old.

Besides Minsk there are smaller cities in 50 km – Bobruisk and Slutsk.
Location of your community:
Town is surrounded with forests. There are lots of wonderful lakes and rivers,
beautiful places where you can have a picnic with your friends or just have a rest
from busy city life.
The area of your community: I don’t know, but it is not wide.
The population of your community: about 10 000.

The area of our Starye Dorogi district has a lot of
picturesque places where you can have a good
time. You can swim in the lakes and sunbath, pick
up mushrooms and berries (bilberry, wild strawberry,
cranberry) in summer, ski in a magic forest in winter.
Describe any unusual land formation found in or
near your community:
No mountains or valleys, but forests, fields, lakes,
rivers, some churches and historical buildings.
There are also the 7 Wonders in our district.
Industries:
Some wood-working organizations, clothing factory
– there is no heavy industry.
