 also known as T- ∏ transformation.
 they are some complex networks whose equivalent
resistance can`t be found by using simple series –
parallel technique.
 to solve such complex networks , star-delta (T- ∏ )
transformation technique is used.

 USING T-∏ TRANSFORMATION ,
T - connection can be converted into ∏ - connection
OR
∏ - connection into T – connection
DELTA – STAR TRANSFORMATION
R1 = RaRB / Ra +Rb +Rc
R2 = RaRc / Ra +Rb +Rc
R3 = RbRc / Ra +Rb +Rc
STAR – DELTA TRANSFORMATION
Ra = R1 + R3 + R1 R3 /R2
Rb = R1 + R2 + R1 R2 /R3
Rc = R2+ R3 + R2 R3 /R1
