This document summarizes vehicle registration data in the Spanish market for 2014 and 2013. It shows that in January 2014, registrations of electric vehicles totaled 94, down 17% from 113 in January 2013. The largest decreases were seen in derivatives like motorcycles and quadricycles. Registrations of hybrid vehicles totaled 878 in January 2014, down 21% from 1,115 in January 2013. The biggest drop was seen in bus registrations. Overall, electric and hybrid vehicle registrations in Spain were down compared to the previous year.
The document discusses using the Mule Database connector to connect to a SQL database and execute queries. It includes XML configuration for a Mule flow that defines a JDBC data source and connector, and uses the Database outbound endpoint to execute a SELECT query on a table. The output shows the flow logging the payload containing the results of the query.
The document discusses how to use the File connector in Mule applications to exchange files between a file system and Mule application. The File connector can be used as an inbound endpoint to pick up files from a source location and move them to a destination location, or as an outbound endpoint. An example Mule flow configuration is provided that uses a file inbound endpoint to pick up a file, move it to a destination folder, and write a log message.
The document discusses Mule Enterprise Service Bus (ESB). Key points:
- Mule ESB is a lightweight Java-based integration platform that allows connecting applications together quickly through various protocols including JMS, HTTP, FTP, and more.
- It acts as a transit system carrying data between applications within or across organizations.
- Mule ESB includes capabilities for data transformations, routing, messaging, and integration with existing systems regardless of technology used.

Audio Based Speech Recognition Using KNN Classification Method.ReportSantosh Kumar
This document proposes an audio-based speech recognition system for use in vehicles using a KNN classification method. The system aims to reduce driver distraction by allowing drivers to control common vehicle functions like temperature, windows, phone calls, and GPS through voice commands. It uses Linear Predicted Coefficients (LPC) and Mel Frequency Cepstral Coefficients (MFCC) to extract features from training data consisting of driver names and commands. A KNN classifier is trained on these features and tested, achieving 80-90% accuracy for driver identification and 50-96.6% for command classification. The system shows potential for increasing vehicle security and reducing accidents caused by distracted driving.

The document discusses how to use the choice component in Mule applications to conditionally route messages based on message properties. It provides an example Mule flow that sets a session property, logs it in two flows, and uses a choice component in the second flow to route the message based on whether the property equals "mule" or not. The choice component allows adding if/then/else logic to control message flow similar to programming code.
The document discusses the importance of reading aloud to children. It provides several key benefits: (1) it helps children's reading ability and builds a foundation for learning to read; (2) it exposes children to new vocabulary through hearing words read aloud; (3) it makes reading a pleasurable experience that children will want to continue doing on their own. The document recommends making reading aloud a regular part of bonding with children and providing reading materials around the home to encourage reading as a family activity.
fluent-plugin-beats at Elasticsearch meetup #14N Masahiro
This document summarizes a presentation about integrating Fluentd with Elastic Beats data collection agents. It introduces Beats, their supported outputs including Elasticsearch, and various third party Beats. It then describes the fluent-plugin-beats plugin which allows Fluentd to receive events from Beats using the Lumberjack protocol. An example configuration is shown. Performance tests show Fluentd can handle over 100,000 events/sec while Filebeat is slower at 18,000 events/sec. The conclusion is that Beats are useful for collection but Fluentd may be better than Filebeat for high volume environments.
The document discusses strategies for conducting interactive read alouds with students. It defines read alouds as oral readings by the teacher of texts above students' independent reading level. The teacher should choose high-interest selections and scaffold support for all readers. During read alouds, the teacher models thinking aloud to demonstrate comprehension monitoring strategies like predicting, visualizing, and making connections. Semantic differential scales can also be used after read alouds to help students analyze characters.
Mule is a lightweight integration platform that connects systems, services, APIs and devices through intelligent message routing and management of data mapping, orchestration, reliability, security and scalability. It allows different applications to communicate by acting as a transit system that reads, transforms and sends data as messages between applications. Mule provides standard and advanced security features, and allows integration with on-premise and cloud applications and systems.
Transportation Priorities Plan: Future UpdatesFairfax County
The document outlines the County of Fairfax, Virginia's plan to update its Transportation Priorities Plan (TPP) every three years. It provides details on projects already completed, under construction, in design, or under study in the current TPP. It then proposes a schedule and process for the TPP update, noting factors like updated cost estimates, revenue projections, involvement in regional transportation planning through NVTA and the state process through HB2 that could impact the update. The update would revise timelines and costs, identify new projects, conduct outreach and analysis, and return to the Board for approval of the updated TPP.
Transportation Alternatives Program Workshop and Public CommentFairfax County
This document summarizes a workshop held by the Fairfax County Department of Transportation about the Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP). TAP provides federal funding for non-motorized transportation projects. The workshop provided an overview of eligible project types, the application and selection process, and status updates on current and proposed TAP projects in Fairfax County. Attendees were invited to provide input on project recommendations or comments.
Fairfax County Countywide Transit Network Study-February 2016 Public Meeting:...Fairfax County
The Fairfax County Department of Transportation presented draft recommendations for a High Quality Transit Network (HQTN) to replace the Enhanced Public Transportation Corridors. The proposed HQTN aims to establish the most effective way to serve the County's future growth by improving public transit usage. It includes 34 miles of Metrorail, 33 miles of light rail or bus rapid transit, and 143 miles of express bus routes to connect activity centers. The recommendations will be finalized after further public input and economic analysis.
Citizens Information Meeting: Lee Chapel Road WalkwayFairfax County
This document summarizes a citizens information meeting about plans to construct a new sidewalk along Lee Chapel Road in Fairfax County, Virginia. The project will install a 5-6 foot wide sidewalk between Britford Drive and Burke Lake Road, including new curb ramps and retaining walls. Utility relocation, tree removal, and potential private property easements may be required. The project team was introduced and the design, schedule, land acquisition process, and opportunity for public comment were discussed. Construction is planned for summer 2017 to winter 2018.
Batch processing in Mule allows splitting messages into individual records, performing actions on each record in parallel, and reporting results. It is useful for integrating or synchronizing large datasets between systems, extracting/transforming/loading data into a target system, and handling large volumes of incoming API data. Mule's batch jobs simplify processing massive amounts of data with record-based reporting, error handling, and parallel processing.
This document describes several of David Eliseo Martínez Castellanos' personal spatial analysis projects from 2015. It summarizes an air quality map app that collects data from Ontario and performs spatial interpolation to estimate air quality conditions. It also discusses a GIS service that uses DEM and rain gauge data to visualize landslide susceptibility for early warning systems. Screenshots are provided of the web and mobile apps that visualize the output of the spatial analyses.
