The document describes God's close relationships with important biblical figures. It discusses how God placed Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, spoke directly to Enoch and took him to heaven, told Abraham his descendants would be as numerous as the stars, spoke face to face with Moses as one speaks to a friend, and called his disciples friends rather than servants after sharing everything with them. The passage ends by saying God has loved the reader with an eternal love and calls them a friend.
Can we know absolutely whether something is right or wrong? What is our standard of morality? The only absolute standard we can have is to look back to the one who created us and imitate Him. We know right and wrong because it is the very character of God.
We have been adopted into a new family. What is our Father like? We can find out by listening to His Son. Jesus compares our Father to a vinedresser: and three essential traits of God are shown: He is great, He is working and He is love.

We know prayer is vital, yet it’s not always the easiest habit to maintain. Jesus taught on prayer, so let’s look at His instructions and grow in this area.
Exodus helps us to understand that Jehovah is the name of God Almighty; it refers to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit; and most importantly, we must obey Him!

Renewed in Grace
The Book of Joshua is the sixth book in the Hebrew Bible and the Old Testament, and is the first book of the Deuteronomistic history, the story of Israel from the conquest of Canaan to the Babylonian exile.
In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

2. Adam and Eve
Then the Lord God planted a
garden in Eden in the east, and
there he placed the man he had
made.
When the cool evening breezes
were blowing, Adam and Eve
heard the Lord God walking
about in the garden. (Genesis
2:8, 3:8)

Enoch lived 365 years, walking in
close fellowship with God. Then

God took him. Before this
happened God had said how
pleased he was with Enoch.

4. Abraham
Then the Lord took Abraham outside
and said to him, “Look up into the sky
and count the stars if you can. That’s
how many descendants you will have!”
Abraham believed God, and God
counted him as righteous because of his
faith. He was even called the friend of
God. (Genesis 15:5; James 2:23)

5. Moses
The Lord would speak to Moses
face to face, as one speaks to a
friend.
Of all my house, [Moses] is the
one I trust. I speak to him face to
face, clearly, and not in riddles! He
sees the Lord as he is. (Exodus
33:11; Numbers 12:7-8)
摩西
上帝跟摩西面對面說話,好像

friends, because I have told you
everything that my Father told me.
