2. About the School "Tkuma" school is a state school to the special education of students who more dedication and help in their studies. The school is situated in the inspection of Rachel Shuchman – inspector of special education in the Education Ministry, and is managed by Racheli Lavi.

Photography project took place in frame of the arts program under the guidance of the arts teacher Ms. Dalia Bachar, together with some of the educators, Orly Shickler and Einat Asaf, and computer instructor, Racheli Avner. Students from sixth and seventh grade, Jews and Arabs, some of them used the camera the first time in their lives participated in this project. 4. "…The choice in the photograph was as artistic medium resulted from the accessibility and the ease in the use with the digital camera and by right of the immediacy of the products. The students chose to photograph in the neighborhood of Neve Tzeddek on account that the neighborhood was within walking distance from the school and because the area had a rich urbane stimuli that placed old alongside new. The students chose to photograph doors, windows, trellises, and balconies. The students wanted to focus on the structural attractive elements and examine visually what they found in the variation concentrated in this neighborhood.

The goal of the project was to strengthen the self security of the students by means of positive change in the self image, from within belief of their feelings and instincts that they were able to through the materialization of the project and influence on additional aspects in their lives, additional contiguous goals to the sectarian crystallization and to the reinforcement of feelings of the relation to the school and to the city."
