2. MISSION:
Perfect Transi-ons is an interna-onal students outreach which strives to
reach out to interna-onal students at Pre-University ins-tu-ons. Our aim is
to provide them with guidance and to help them with transi-oning into
their first year, while pursuing a Canadian University degree.
WHY SPONSOR US
Perfect Transi-on has a vision and is asking you to help achieve it. We are sending
you this package as an invite to become one of our sponsors. As students that
immigrated to this country before the age of 18 and had to figure out how to
adapt socially and academically, we understand the challenge. We are also
commiFed to be a hub for the ease of transi-on. We’ve also conducted a survey
to assess how important a support system is for students transi-oning into
University.
SURVEY
This survey was conducted online on DD/MM/YY. Various interna-onal students
from different Universi-es within Canada were asked to answer five short
ques-ons anonymously. When we collated the results this was what we found:
Q1. Did you aFend any Canadian University Preparatory ins-tu-on? E.g SOC, CIC,
or Great Lakes
RESULT: Out of 69 par-cipants, 52 of them answered “Yes”, that the sis aFend
one of these ins-tu-ons, and 17 answered “No”
Q2. How well did you transi-on into university Socially?
RESULT: Out of 70 par-cipants, 11 transi-oned “Extremely well”, 30 transi-oned
“Quite well”, 25 transi-oned “Fairly well”, and 4 transi-oned “Not well at all”.
Q3. How well did you transi-on into university academically?
RESULT: Out of 70 par-cipants, 9 transi-oned “Extremely well”, 27 transi-oned
“Quite well”, 25 transi-oned “Fairly well” and 9 transi-oned “Not well at all”.
