Split Enz was a popular New Zealand band formed in the 1970s that played art rock, vaudeville, swing, punk, rock, and new wave. Some of their early hit singles included "I See Red" and "6 Months in a Leaky Boat". While the band struggled initially, they gained recognition after recording 28 demos in London, England, including their favorite song "I See Red". After splitting up in the 1980s-1990s, members like Tim and Neil Finn went on to solo careers or bands like Crowded House.

• Split Enz was a Kiwi band that formed in

included the Finn brothers: Tim Finn,
Neil Finn and Phil Judd. Their music

studio in Luton, London. Recorded 28

2001 until people knew them more.
