of Martin Luther King. It
was named so because it
had never been written and
it wasn’t read from a piece
of paper.
This one was only written
in his heart.
3. Martin Luther King was a
black reverend and human
rights activist. He dedicated
his life to love and to justice
between fellow human
beings.
King received the Nobel
Peace Prize for combating
racial inequality through
nonviolent resistance.
April 4th, 1968 Martin Luther
King was shot and killed in
Memphis, Tennessee.

New York's senator
made the speech about
assassination of Martin
Luther King to the
people of Indianapolis.
63 days after the
speech, Robert F
Kennedy got
assassinated.

Kennedy called on people replace the
violence with an effort to understand,
compassion and love, as Martin Luther
King did.

our country, whether
they were white or

black.

should not be. Today, the appeal of the
Kennedy to compassion and love is still
relevant.
