Cordaid, with funding from UNDP through the Japanese government, conducted an improved livelihood skills training for 200 South Sudanese women in Juba. The training was led by instructors from New Dawn South Sudan, Paroma International, and Lulu Works South Sudan. They taught skills in food processing, candle making, and other small business topics. The project aimed to equip women with entrepreneurial skills to start and manage their own businesses, promote self-employment, and provide access to financing. Supporting women was emphasized as vital to empowering communities and promoting prosperity.
