2. About us
We are conducting socio-economic, educational, health and training programs for job
opportunities of slum and pavement dwellers living in different regions.
Apart from this we are organizing and conducting family management and leadership
camps, for women.
We also provide family counseling on issues like marital relations, child welfare,
educations, employments etc..
A brief details are given below as follow:
Health care program
Workshop Training Program for Urban
We promote health awareness among the urban and rural communities and guides them
& Rural Women
to get benefits of health care centre and Hospitals of government.
Skill Development Training
We organize, coordinate and trains the women for their sustained living, as there is very
less scope for their job opportunities, being poor-and illiterate. We assess their ability,
talents etc:, and train them, accordingly, so that they could access to immediate available
jobs for food and living.
Generally we give short term training in their local languages, which ease them to grasp
and act with in short time. We assist the poor to get jobs by coordinating with the
potential employers.
General community activities
It involves all the welfare and guidance works conducted by us for the urban poor, so that
they could conduct all their activities, for their sustained living and development.
Types of community based programs and training programs in the following fields:
1. Managing family with school/college going children.
2. Domestic works & moral characters.
3. Child welfare & Empowerment of women.
4. Self employment program.

4. Services
We have been conducting sustainable living and development related programs along
with health, education and general activities.
The environment, opportunities for employment are decreasing and competitions are
increasing in the unorganized sectors.
Most of the workers are from slum are observed self employed, artisan, labours and
petty traders are finding difficult to sustain their employment and trade.
Most of the slum/pavement dwellers are daily waged no regular jobs.
Men tend to take recourse to alcoholism and women forced to take responsibility of

Family tension and conflict are on the increase.
Because of these reasons many house wives accept whatever jobs they can get. Thus
increasing the burden of women.
In short the effect of general economic stagnation and globalization process are
very much, felt in urban and rural, the worst effected are women.
Skill development program
We offer training programs for job opportunities of slum and pavement dwellers like
tailoring, building constructions works and allied skillness to the slum dwellers at:
Navi Mumbai,Mumbai, Panvel, Khopoli and Uran, Raigad district, Vasai, Bhayender ,
Thane District, Maharastra state.
Villupuram and Cuddalor district in Tamilnadu state.
Almora district, Uttarakhand state.
Apart from this we organized and conducted family management and leadership camps,

5. Projects
On going projects:
Construction of community tiolet at Shivaji Nagar zhopadpatti/Slum,under MMR abhiyan
urban and rural sanitation project at Panvel, Raigad, Maharashtra, INDIA
Running BALWADI at Panchashil nagar, New Panvel and Kashibai Zopadpatti as part of
primary level education services for slum dwellers.
Local knowledge centre for students from slum at Shivaji nagar zhopadpatti/slum, at Panvel,
Woman saving group (Drops saving schemes) for woman from various slum area of
Workshop Training Program for Urban Mumbai, Thane and Raigad District
& Rural Women
Organizing various meetings at various slum areas for woman skill development, drops
saving, increasing strength of woman, increase awareness about hygiene and sanitary
program.
Earlier successfully completed projects as part of our social service.
