Lars is certified by the Cornell University in Real Estate, Development and Hotel
Investment and in Business Economics by the Open University in UK, and holds various
Diplomas in Project and Change Management and Strategic Marketing.
Lars is an expert of the hotel sector with ample experience of over 15 years in Executive
Management as well as working as an external Consultant. He speaks at various
conferences and further holds seminars for senior professionals with schools and hotel
associations in Europe (Spain, Germany and Russia).
Enjoying the dynamic world of hotels he set-up in 2004 the strategic hotel consultancy LARS VON DER WETTERN
Solutions HI with an ample international network. Managing Director
Gonzalo holds an Advanced Diploma from the Centro Superior de Hostelería de Galicia
and has completed several management/business courses at the Cornell School of Hotel
Administration in New York.
For more than seven years, Gonzalo has been working for the company “Vincci Hotels”,
being in charge of the general management of business units, including “the first
Spanish Hotel in New York City”, “The Avalon Hotel”.
Gonzalo joined Solutions HI in 2011. In addition to representing the company in Spain
GONZALO DE LA MATA and Portugal, his tasks include research of assets, brokerage of hotel properties and
General Manager Spain & Portugal operation/management coordination of all hotel projects, among others.

Steffen started his career by completing an apprenticeship at the Best Western Parkhotel
am Kurhaus in Bad Nauheim, Germany. He graduated in 1995 from the Hotel School
Frankfurt am Main.
After his experience at the Corporate and Regional Offices with Marriott he continued
with Marriott International, Inc. as Regional Operations Specialist and Director of
Operations at Marriott Suites in Chicago, USA.
Since Steffen joined Solutions HI in 2008, he is working for our projects in Germany,
STEFFEN SEIB Russia & CIS as our Senior Project Manager. Actually he is preparing the opening of our
Senior Project Manager new hotel in Russia, another one in Germany and the second one in Azerbaijan.
Juan is a passionate chef dedicated to sharing his culinary skills. His expertise helps to
train local teams to use their original traditions with new trends, which in turn creates
new and exciting menu concepts.
He has worked with some of the best chefs in the world, managing different Michelin
Star restaurants worldwide and working as Executive Chef for international brands like
InterContinental before joining Solutions HI in 2009.
Juan is our Culinary Director with over 15 years of experience and is in charge of the
entire process, from the design and selection of the interiors to the creation of JUAN PABLO TORRE

Andrea’s first steps into the hotel business were as a Front Office Trainee at the
Sheraton Hotel & Towers Frankfurt/Germany. Afterwards he started his apprenticeship in
Hotel management and graduated at the Hotel School in Frankfurt 1984.
Since the entrance in Hotel business more than 30 years ago, Andreas continued his
career with Starwood Hotels & Resorts and Intercontinental Hotels in Europe and
America. He also is very experienced in managing superior hotels of private ownerships.
In 2012 Andreas joined Solutions HI and is at this moment Opening/Interims General
Manager for our projects in Georgia and Azerbaijan. ANDREAS KNAB

Veronica has a degree in Business Administration from the State University of Tourism
and Recreation in Sochi, Russia.
On the 3rd course of the University she started to work in the hotel sphere to combine
her theoretic knowledge with practical skills. Springboard of her career became the Food
and Beverage department of Radisson Hotel Lazurnaya in Sochi. Next step in her
professional way was the work in the luxury hotel segment as F&B Manager in Grand
Hotel & Spa Rodina. Also Veronica was a part of pre-opening teams of such projects as
Novotel Yekaterinburg Center and TUI Hotel Kaluga.
Veronica joined Solutions HI in 2011 as Operation Manager in Chirag Plaza, Azerbaijan.
VERONICA TURENOK She is working currently for our projects in Georgia and Russia and preparing the
Operation Manager opening of various hotels & restaurants.

Elena has a degree in Business Administration from the State University of Commerce
and Economics in Moscow, Russia. Later, she specialized in Foreign Trade in the Cesma
Business School, Madrid, Spain.
In Russia, combining studies at the University at the age of 20 years, she began working
as Director/Manager of a commercial establishment. Years later, she continued her
career with a wholesale company with over 100 employees, as Head of Sales
Department.
ELENA KRYLOVA In Spain, since her incorporation in Solutions HI in 2009, she is our main coordinator at
